To be fair, no one buying any marvel comic is a coordinate effort. Carol is not alone in getting woke and going broke.

 

They're being very misleading about Children of the the Atom. While it has a cover featuring Cyclops, Nightcrawler, Archangel, Marvel Girl and Gambit, there's another cover that better depicts what the book's actually about. It's basically an X-men version of the Teen Titans, composed of teenagers with the same powers as the characters who appear on the former cover. It's kind of weird that with so many X-titles out at the moment Archangel and Nightcrawler still don't have a placement in any of the rosters! Not even their traditional ones like X-Force and Excalibur.

 

I'm wondering if they are some kind of clone hybrids.

 

Possibly Mr. Sinister's Chimaeras.

 

Questions:

• Who in Earth-616 has the most comic book appearances? Ranking by 1-5?
• Can the Invisible Woman fly?
• Why can't super villains be executed? (Doom is the one exception due to being a ruler of a country.)
• Apocalypse Vs. Thanos.
• Is Punisher Max kinda canon to Earth-616? (As Microchip was dead, and Punisher Max takes place in a different universe.)
• How do characters appear at so many places at once? Like Wolverine is an Avenger, an X-Men, and doing his own thing all within the same month. His Secondary Mutantion is multitasking.
• Is Wolverine's claws and healing factor his first and Secondary Mutantion? Or is it de-evolution?
• Is Squrriel Girl a mutant?
• Could Dr. Doom run for President?

Marvel doesn’t bringing up Iron Man crap. He’s essentially frozen in a “struggles with women and alcohol” state. They’ll waive off/explain some new sin and go back to status quo.

For Hank and Carol they keep going back to their worst moments. Writers rarely let them forget it. That’s part of why I like Hickman’s Avengers better than most runs as while we don’t see a lot of Hank and Carol, he doesn’t bring back up Hank hitting wasp or Carol’s problems.

Or Disney could just shut them down and license out the characters to other companies. If your section doesn't make enough even if you are making a profit Disney will shut you down and cut their losses if you don't make what they expect. Especially now that that have to pay loans on all that money they borrowed to buy fox.

Marvel’s comic division is a pretty cheap way to protect the IP treasure trove. You print a comic every few years to protect IP on some character and move on. Things would have to be really really bad for Disney to completely shut it down.

I could see a house cleaning happen with Disney firing all the support staff, editorial, and administration and just restarting.

As for Carol, there’s a good character there, but they need to go back to times that she’s worked, like under KSD’s run.
