I love the packaging on that Grimlock, with the protional art of the dino mode RIGHT NEXT to the 3D render that looks completely different! I\'m honestly not hating on these, I just think that\'s really funny XD

So, I found the Soundwave at my local Dollar General. He's pretty good! Decent articulation, and the vehicle mode is great. His kibble (Hood of the vehicle) comes detached in package, as is the usual for this line. Interestingly, both of his accesories are made of soft plastic. At least they won't snap, right? He also has speakers molded into his legs, amusingly enough. Is that an Animated callback? I tried to post the images, but I don't have enough posts to add links yet.

Welcome to TFW2005. But yeah, do keep telling a bit more about it, is the accessories attached via the kibble? And is the Radar also 5mm-compatible?

No, the accessories do not attach via the kibble. The radar, while it doesn't have a 5mm post, will fit in most 5mm ports (Albeit, not very snugly.)

Ah. So where would the weapons connect into the robot mode?

Yes, he's Voyager-sized. He doesn't look too out of place with Siege, to be honest.

So, TF Wiki now acknowledges its release, and confirms my guess that it was first released at DG. If anyone really wants to pick this up, I found mine in Virginia.

I'd say you got this the wrong way around - most likely the info at TFWiki was added as a direct result of your sighting...

Y'know, TFWiki is a fan-edited database. It's not a collection of official Hasbro-approved information. If someone reports something on a message board, chances are someone will see it and add it to TFWiki.

Sometimes this will result in a weird confirmation loop where someone makes an untrue statement, someone else will add it to a wiki-style database (be it Wikipedia, TFWiki or something else), and then the same person who reported the wrong information in the first place will refer to said wiki and say, "huh, I was right after all".
    Loop.jpg

Sometimes incorrect or deliberately false information will get caught quickly and removed, but someone who just checked the page during the brief time the wrong information was there won't know any better. Unfortunately, sometimes wrong information stays there for years until someone puts it into question. Y'know, like many of these longtime fandom myths that only get challenged once someone asks "are we sure about this?"

I still recall the case of that one individual who for some reason insisted that the longtime elusive voice actor Stephen Keener (who finally made a convention appearance in 2018) was merely an alias for actor Ed Flanders (who died in 1995), eventually even going so far as to claim he himself was Flanders' son.

Ah, okay. Thanks for clearing that up.
I'm gonna go a hunt of sorts tomorrow afternoon to see if I can track down the Ratchet or Titan Grimlock. I'll update you guys if I find anything.
