New generation toys gravity builder?

    Just saw an April preorder for a gravity builder on TF source. Is this a re-release or a revamped version?
    Specs in description say 17.7 inches tall whereas original sold out version says 15 inches.

    Did not see the knee extensions in the pics. Maybe measuring to top of the shoulders?

    I just looked at that as well - I don't know about the height discrepancy, but it looks like it has a chromed chest plate and mixing barrel, and the 500 pcs world wide part.

    Only thing that interests me about the new one is that it uses the correct purple on the green version of him. However, the OS jinbao version exists so I have no motivation to buy this. If you want a big devastator that's about 18-19 inches in height, buy jinbao's.

    How is the quality on jinbao - It’s about a third of the price of this and I tend to fear that you get what you pay for

    Most say it's really good. You can watch some reviews of him (emgo actually has some up). Mines on the way, but overall people seem to say it's built well and even their last combiner that was of worse quality is surprisingly good. So they are a case of you get a lot for what you pay.

    Ok, just saw the listing at BBTS - they have it substantially cheaper ($375 vs $530), and it lists the upgrade kit as a bonus. Maybe that's where the height difference is?

    Edit - TFSource is $530, not $520.

    Too bad was hoping for a size comparable authentic GB to go with constructor but at 375 makes this more tempting

    It definitely wouldn’t be size comparable unfortunately. As I’ve said, JB’s is the best for that. Options are fun.

    I have a GT and a Jinbao version. The Jinbao is a slightly different shade of green but everything work perfectly and fits in with my FT stuff. Debating on getting another for bot mode. Especially since they run around $150 for all 6.


    Doubt it. I'm a little confused about the whole change from 15" to 17" size though.

    Ah ok. I missed it. The test photos don't have the knee extensions on. I am now seeing that showz's pre-order includes the "upgrade kit".
