Except blades. My blades is a piece of trash. All the black paint has chipped off in the box, his hips are too loose to stand, his leg transformation joint is warped and the combined mode joints are so loose that it doesn't even begin to function

If you have the chance, can we get input on the stability when the two arms are connected with extended legs?

Also, a picture will be nice too, front and back.

if the extended legs does work, fabricating a fill-in block for the hollow calfs will be easy. creates more stability in combined and extended defensor

 

You might be better off just buying a single one and perhaps asking the seller for a partial refund based on the poor quality and then selling the Blades to someone as custom fodder.

Everywhere that I suggested it, I got people shutting me down with “It would be unstable and look stupid!” At least people here are curious about it.lol And Feral Rex literally does the same thing. Both of mine are fine. Besides, GT (and Jinbao) Devy Looks stupid enough with those leg extensions that everyone is gaga over.......lol

I don’t plan on doing it myself, because I still collect the 15” Combiners too, but I just thought it was an idea for those who wanted this guy to be taller:/

 

I got bashed for the “extended legs” idea as well in another forum. Didn’t know that these type of people existed, but not going to let their “ideas” ruin my ideas.

if this os ko defensor stands at 16” with extended legs and stable enough with mods, it will fit in well with the 17” combiners

 

Exactly! And who knows- maybe something else can be extended, adjusted, or someone on Shapeways can come to the rescue. I got my CW Superion and UT War Lord up to 14”....:/

I was pleasently suprised when I got home. Vulcan was here waiting for me. Much larger box then I was expecting, and looks good. I haven't had a chance to mess with him yet, but I will later tonight, and I will try the extended leg setup.

Yeah my Blades is pretty loose too when i first purchased it. I may need to make it a bit tighter here and there for him not to be floppy on the arms. Actually blades and first aid are kinda the same floppiness. Might have to look back on it before Vulcan comes.

I think someone on fb said they will start a 3D project to increase the size of him. I mean if people want it go for it. Of GT and Jinbao can make their devy bigger im sure it can be done too.
Also happy my vulcan is on a plane it has left china thank god!!

 

At this point, I'm mostly just waiting for someone to release KO combiners in MPP-10 scale. I can't help but chuckle when the Legends scene is absolutely booming, but there's still a funny offset from people that want things bigger and bigger. Scale charts are becoming an absolute nightmare to keep up with.

 

When anyone gets a chance I'd like to seem him next to some of the other 15" combiners, Warbotron, TFM, Feral/Nero Rex, TFC, GT thanks in advance

Is tw devy same height as mpp10 or is it as big as lewin mp10? Damn tw had to go and make things huge..

Constructor is 53cm, Lewin MP-10 is 71cm, MPP-10 is about 33cm tall. Nothing close on any of those examples.

 

Man, seeing this really makes me wish Maketoys would return to making combiners again. MT/FP combiners are, IMO, their best products and among some of my favourites.

 

Thanks i was just wondering if people wanted it big then it would be necessary to go with one of those sizes to get a big combiner for oversizing. Lol if they went with lewin the combiners would be huge haha.

Well i kinda feel if their guardia re release does not do good then we are most likely not see a return as we have not heard from both parties on their production for ages

 

OK, I got my Defensor together and I gotta say, I really like it. Looks great. I left the legs extended and it seems to be really stable. I am sure the ball joints in the feet will loosen up over time, but if your just putting him in an A stance I don't think it will be a problem. My arm bots are loose and don't want to maintain much of a pose, but I think I can snug up those joints. With his legs extended and standing straight, he is 15 3/4" to the top of his head. I put him next to Jinbao Bruticus, and Bruticus dwarfs him. I would put up pictures, but I don't know how to do that. Also BensKOllectables has a nice video on youtube for Vulcan and combined mode. This is a great looking figure and I am happy that I got him, well worth the wait.
