    The fingers on 12+ wrap most of the way around the handle. Way better than 12G for sure!

    Yeah. At least they're sending you the parts. It's always a bummer when you wait forever for an order just to get it to find out that your copy is defective. I had a copy of Thrust and Prowl that I had to return after a month of waiting only to receive different copies that are only slightly better. My Prowl went from having a missing heel spur out of the box to having paint defects on his face. So....yay?

    I initially thought I had to fold the hand all the way around too. You just have to wrap the fingers around enough so it looks like he's holding his gun. The tab holds it in well enough to get some poses. I wish the head sculpt had a little more character but I like it. MP-12 had a superior vehicle paint scheme for sure but I enjoy the robot mode for MP-12+ more. the subtle little changes made all the difference somehow. Maybe it's just that they got rid of all the silver parts.

    I do like the cartoon looks but I think I actually prefer the initial Datsuns and Wheeljack over the + repaints. I like how some had retooling though. Howeved, MP-12+ looks like the best MP G1 Sideswipe to me by far.

    While looking at Pretender images today, I actually realized MP-21's head sculpt kind of looks like Pretender Classics Bumblebee. If it was really an homage, that's one hell of a throwback Hasui made! Would've never thought he'd dig that deep into the past!

    After hearing so much about how new MPs are very breakable, I think maybe I should stop collecting them. Just sell all of my MPs but my favorites.
