I honestly find RKs face kind of boring and a little too rounded/curvy/youthful and GSs more stern and broad, lending more to the look of an older bot, along with looking a bit more brutish. But hey, always good to have options.

Agree it's beautiful that we can choose;Gravestone stoic face is more of a brute as Motormaster . In fact I also appreciate a lot Motormaster face in old G1 toy because was younger,instead RK wins on on it for menacing side, and if some company gives option to use toon face or the lavender younger one with his refined black helmet would be great.

And for me RK stoic face goes very well for Motormaster in Masquerade episede,there he appeared quiet in a lot of scenes when he talked to other Stunticons.Both him and Gravestone have quiet and rage face but Gravestone normal face is more of a brute as him.

 

Got mine a couple of days ago and it's still in alt mode. Haven't had a chance to really give it a going over but based on initial impressions I'm impressed!

Did give a MP10 mold trailer a whirl though... Um yeah, Gravestone doesn't suit white  

 

No it's really not. I had to hit the show ignored button to see what you were even talking about - that dude is on a lot of ignore lists. If it's true what he says about his disability, I sympathize, but expecting a masterpiece transformer to conform to his wishes is expecting too much.

I give Fanstoys serious props for what they accomplished with Road King. That transformation is nothing short of magic - I especially love that his fake cab feet are actually a chunk of the real cab with just fake headlights. But stick Gravestone's trailer on him (or, y'know, MP-10's trailer since we don't have GS' trailer yet) and put it next to Road King and I think you'll see there's just no comparison. RK's trailer is way too small. It's too short height wise and length wise and it's too narrow. It's the trade off for that miraculous transformation and it's a worthy trade but it means that Gravestone has the best looking alt mode. His cab mode looks better as well, IMHO.

I adore the brutishness of it!

 

Just transformed Gravestone. Having spent a week with MP Hound, this thing feels like it's chiseled out of rock! If I were being picky I think the feet are too small and the thighs too short, but as an in-hand experience he's terrific and both modes look great. I remain highly sceptical of the combiner bot but obviously with the whole team now together I'll have to go for it. Could yet be a triumph.

 

I'm waiting for that too! Not for the transformation process, as I already have that memorised, but simply for the entertainment factor  

Plus I want to see if old Emgopants gets the collar piece right for going through the chest  

 

Did you leave Capone's legs not fully transformed on purpose, or did you forget to rotate the cab windows?

Yeah, props to FT for the all in one transformation, and the accurate trailer look, but yeah the trade-off is that everything behind the cab is just too thin:



And it would be one thing if it was thin all the way around, but his cab is about the same width as the others:

But then once you get beyond the back of the cab itself, the rear wheels of the cab aren't even the same length as the front wheels, which just looks weird.

And RK is definitely more detailed than Capone, but GS looks like a model of a truck (mostly):

With the details and molding, and he hands down has the best looking tires.

Wow that sucks! Sorry to see that. At least it seems that XTransbots' customer service is pretty good, so hopefully they can get you sorted out.

Then I used Tef Tef's review for the Newage seekers. Those little guys are frigging amazing. Paper instructions for those were garbage.
