    Hi guys.

I’m considering to buy this KO Prime. After I did a quick search of the sellers, I found 2 versions (or serial numbers) of this Prime.

    - WEIJIANG Black Apple M07
    - WEIJIANG 8606 Commander Thunder Leader

Does anyone know the difference between these two?

    Thank you in advance.

This is a lot of words to say that you don't actually give a shit if other people have legitimate problems with their figures, as long as you don't. Which is fine -- but extremely unhelpful!

Being a fan of something does not mean blindly defending it. No third-party has a 100% record in regards to design, manufacturing, and quality control -- they've all had duds, and it is extremely unhelpful to pretend otherwise. People giving honest feedback on a figure's defects helps everyone else in the long run -- especially since it can take weeks to get replacement parts for one, if you're able to at all.

I also strongly disagree with the notion that you can't redesign MPM-4 without making it more fragile. The latter is a choice, not an inevitable consequence. I can think of a few easy ways to make things like the gun transformation happen without flexing plastic -- they could've chosen to make one joint not squared off, or added in a slider. But I can't help but think that the designer sees needing to bend parts to make clearances as a feature, not a bug, simply based on the clearances and tolerances I've seen across the mold. That's really not a good thing, and it doesn't give me confidence that he won't pull the same thing in his next design.

What part do you have to bend on his gun?

Thanks for your feedback. Some sellers also mentioned that they're selling the "Battle damaged" version. I'm guessing all are same?

All are the same. WJ and BA have only 1 MPM KO Optimus Prime, which is shiny in truck mode yet has battle damaged at some parts in bot mode.

Seeing as how you paraphrased the quote I don't think you actually read the whole thing because you don't seem to understand what I said. If you did you would realize that I do care and I wasn't blindly defending WJ. I even said specifically that it sucks that you got a bad copy. I don't understand how any of that equates to I don't give a shit about you having problems with figures as long as I don't. If I truly didn't give a shit I wouldn't have even commented about your story and I wouldn't have gone back and read the other parts if I truly didn't give a shit. I'm also not pretending that any third or fourth party company has never had a design manufacturing or quality control problem I'm just saying I'm fortunate enough to not have ever come across any. I also never said anything about redesigning mpm-4 without making it more fragile. It seems like you said a lot of words to say that you don't care and you didn't actually read what I wrote. But that's besides the point it's unfortunate that your parts are breaking do try and be careful because as you pointed out things do take a while to get replaced if you can get them replaced at all, if you're going to quote someone put the whole thing and then go off of what they said don't quote the sentence and then make the rest up. I wish you better luck in your collecting Journey and I hope that everything turns out alright in the end.

There's a large cylinder on the back of the gun that moves 180° on a pinned lever to the front for vehicle mode, and the lever has to be slightly bent to get the cylinder over the front of the gun barrel. (And slightly stressed for clipping in said cylinder in gun mode, but that's more minor.) What's odd is that there's a hinge in the middle of the lever which would probably avoid having to do this if it could swing outward, but it's made with a right angle stop to ensure it can only hinge inwards.

I'm curious to know from those who have had this figure for at least 2 months. Do you still feel it's worth it? Is it still worthy of a spot in your collection after having it for 2, 3 months or more? Or no? Overrated? Think another potential "MPM Prime" is inevitable (like that 'perfect transformation' one that may or may not get produced) that could rival or improve over this? Anyone with buyers remorse?

SZS insists I wait longer, that it's sure to come, or they'll send a replacement or refund. I waited the stipulated 45 days, contacted them after 47 days, and was told to keep waiting. I'm back to practically not caring (again) if I get the figure. Should I remain encouraged and pursue it, or get a refund? Sigh...

I don't have buyer's remorse, but I am bummed at the size. He looks really good with the carbots but is too big for Ironhide and Megatron.
There are a lot of neat improvements that I really like, but a few that feel a bit over- engineered. (Mostly the guns). The added stuff also changed the balance of the figure so it doesn't pose as easily as the MPM as I and others have mentioned.
All that being said, he looks amazing! He is the most accurate transforming figure of Peterbilt Prime and both modes are equally beautiful. The paint is top notch, the plastic feels good and he's got good heft.

I can understand your frustration, and honestly, I don't if I would say that he is worth all the hassle.

Tracking hasn't updated on either my BA Prime and OS MPM LS-12 Megatron since they entered Beijing customs.

I only just got mine, but figured I’d chime in since I was in the exact same boat. SZS offered me the refund and I took that. I missed the last one Agabyss had while waiting for the refund. I waited a little longer to see if any other US sellers would get him and no luck... so I decided to try again with Terry TF’s club out of China and got it in 13 days. The shipping was weird as it switched to fed ex smart post after LA customs, but smart post took it all the way to my Post office and it delivered next day. In hand he looks and feels amazing. I haven’t really done much other than pose him and fiddle a little, but he has great ‘hand feel’ to borrow Vangelus’s term. Terry has him in stock and usually a coupon. As far as szs, their communication was top notch and it’s not their fault, I hope they eventually get the one they tried to ship me back from China Post, or that they get compensated for it.

Well, I got mine but decided to sell it because the offer was too good. Then I bought another one but the package took its time due to bf and holiday season. I miss him so much :D

Well I've had mine for a couple of days, I may be biased as hell but, I adore this. I know you're as much of a movie Prime junkie as I am, so just hold on a little longer old friend. I ditched my SS collection to build an entire new one around this guy, that's how good he is.
