It's always interesting to see a perspective that I don't agree with but I definitely understand why you don't necessarily like it. I feel the opposite way towards Gravestone, but I agree with your sentiments.

 

And I also totally understand why everyone does. And truly happy that people are getting the MotorMaster they want and deserve.

And I do like the figure. I’m just not “WOW’d” by it. I don’t love it. And I want to love all my purchases...I loved Flipout and Deathwish, paint chipping and all. And I still like Gravestone or else I’d sell it off.

 

Absolutely loving this fella.

 

Still waiting on mine. It’s location has been “updated” to as been “released to usps” , so maybe tomorrow, probably Sat.

Glad to see more people getting him though and I still can’t wait.

For me in this case, buying Gravestone from ShowZ was was something I couldn't pass up. For the first couple of days after their preorder was available, they had it for $112 shipped which beats US sellers' $130 + shipping. I was able to pay the $3 deposit to lock in ShowZ's $112 price. After a few days ShowZ raised the price to $124 shipped stating/claiming that XTB told them that they wanted them to stop selling it that low.

 

Also got mine from showz when they had the lower initial price. Mine will be delivered tomorrow...

Got my Gravestone today, no big deal. Right away I was disappointed as he was in truck mode so I was like ......not doing this and put him back in the box. Ill take him out when his trailer comes out and I have to go through the transformation, but I really wish Xtransbots would put the needs of their customers first as opposed to the bottom line. They need to have an option for buying this guy in robot mode as opposed to alt mode so I can enjoy my robot without having to deal with the transformation.......

I know. This guys crazy. I am very happy that it came in vehicle mode to save on shipping. Plus it's more secure with no bits potentially coming off. I wish more shipped like this and thought about consumer costs.

 

Well I am unable to transform this guy on my own and my caregiver is away for the weekend. Not everyone has the intellectual quotient and the dexterity to perform a complex transformation such as this.......I can only transform G1 robots or similar. I really wish Xtransbots would take people like me into account when packaging these guys.

 

I got Gravestone. He is amazing. Now I want to get the toy version of the stunticons.

Things I love about Gravestone:

1) The hands.
2) His lack of a huge backpack.

Things I hate about Gravestone:

1) That weird toe nubbin.
2) How small his little feet are.
3) The black screws against gray on his arms.
4) That the truck windows aren't clear purple plastic.
6) That awful shade of pink his face is.
7) His legs seem about a half centimeter too short.
8) Those fake tires on his feet don't look very good up close.

I feel like that deformed ass Morton's toe is something I'd see on a Hasbro Siege line figure or something cheap, and not what I expect on a Masterpiece figure. If it was on the back of the figure then, sure, who cares? But being on prominent and on the front display side just bothers me immensely.

 

That 598 Robots video is what most people are using, I think.
