All the IDW movie comics were really great for giving awesome character's and backstory to the great movie designs! I think my favourites were Foundation, Defiance and Reign of Starscream.

The blue guy is movie-Astrotrain btw ;)

I may not like IDW, but I did enjoy the movie comics specifically because they gave character to the bots the movie didn't do that for.

The best additions you made to him are the gray for the outer edges of the windows, and the silver on his head. Looks wonderful. Btw, what yellow and silver paints did you use?

My secrets have been foiled!!! Cheese and Crackers!

    :D :D :D

    Here's the paints I used:

    20200116_095627~2.jpg

Along with orange and blue gems for his blaster, gloss white for the license plate.

I also sliced out some plastic from 1) the inside of his gauntlets cuz they rubbed against the yellow on his forearms, and 2) the underside of the "squares" behind the molded collars cuz of the same reason.

The yellow trim on the door windows were actually scraped off with a razor blade.

Awesome thank you! Scorponok's paint sure is gorgeous for his size.
Aww that's cute! I think he can use his upper wheel as a bolster :p

I feel like I'm in the minority here, but I'm underwhelmed by Shockwave. He looks gorgeous, and the paint is great, but the rubber parts really are a damper. I might paint DotM Shockwave's blade black and give it to him. Hopefully DNA can come to the rescue, because I really want to like him more since the paint and details are so good.

The rubber is to make handling him safer and make those parts more fall resistant.

Sweet, thanks! And good to know about the door wings, I’m gonna do that this afternoon actually. Looks much better and more realistic.

Yeah, it’d be nice to have an upgrade kit with a hard plastic hand and blade. I think Shockwave labs is already making a light up cannon that is (presumably) hard plastic, so I might look into that if it’s not too expensive. And come to think of it, I still need those Shockwave lab hands for Blackout...

If you don’t live in an extreme environment, and have normal air temp control and normal humidity levels in your house/room/apartment, that shouldn’t really be a concern. Although with an ever changing climate, hard to find “normal” weather nowadays ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
