I have no idea what is and isn’t available in the forum software.
I just think it would be swell if Fire Scorpion got bumped, it would be easier for people to compare and contrast with the competing figures.

But I guess the 1st challenge would be to keep the thread to the 1 item.

 

Im only torn between the 2 beta tier as I dont have the resources to go over 100usd mark. Right now LS13 Tac.Com. is 57usd and FireScorpion is 82usd in my location (SG). Im waiting it out for FS to show how solid it transforms and the paint apps too. LS13 has a solid transformation but the the chest protrudes out forward more than I like.

Isnt Fire Scorpion Weijiang? Its listed Weijiang M09 Fire Scorpion by my local etailers...

In lieu of that if the website doesn't have that function, maybe we could get a post stickied at the top of this thread that has links to each individual figures thread? That way we can set this thread to watch and have quick access to what's going on for each figure.

 

I know everyone is recommending ShowZ but I ordered something from them for the first time at the beginning of Dec, like Dec 1. It didn't arrive by the beginning of January so I contacted them. They checked the order and just replied saying "okay we are sending you another one." I still have received nothing, so, cheaper prices or not, that was NOT a good first impression with them. I've order from other Chinese retailers and never have I waited more than 3 weeks.

 

Compared to what?

It's Christmas season, it's normal. Good first impression? well, other chinese sellers maybe NEVER will send you another figure. ShowZstore always takes care of their customers like nobody do. For me it's the most trusty webstore on the internet.

 

ShowZ orders come with tracking numbers, have you checked to see what the status of your missing orders are in the postal system?

 

I have had issues with figures from other Chinese retailers I shopped with and they came through just fine. Again, this is a first impression, not something that has happened after they've been a reliable source for years. Holidays also aren't an excuse- it's not like this is the first time I've ordered things around the Holidays. I have had bad first impressions with US retailers and never used them again.

I am aware of how to track packages, and thank you for your vote of confidence. The second hasn't had an update. and the first one never reached customs. The US Post office knows nothing about them.

I know people can be weirdly committed to a store, but try to bear in mind how the consumer with the problem might be feeling. I MIGHT feel better once I actually get my figure, but it's still the worst turn around time I have ever had for an order, international or not.

 

I'm only trying to understand your situation better to offer any advice where I can. No need to be defensive towards me. I have no wierd commitment to ShowZ or any other store, I purchase from many places.

The reason I'm asking about the tracking is because your grievance is aimed at ShowZ when tracking might show the item is, for example, held at a depot or customs or whatever. I don't know hence why I'm asking. ShowZ aren't responsible for that but have sent you a second item anyhow, in which case you might end up with two of the same item eventually. Sorry you felt I was displaying a commitment to ShowZ, a lack of confidence in your ability to track items, or a lack of empathy with your situation. None were the case. Hope you get a happy resolution to your situation buddy.

I don't think that there's people weirdly committed to a store, we are all here with 40 years old aproximately, we are not kids defending stores. Every one of us buy the figures on the store who offers the best conditions or prices depending the moment... In your case with ShowZ, we're only telling you that you can be confident and don't worry, because ShowZ is a trusty store...

 

Sorry I got a little defensive, I've just heard a lot of good things about ShowZ recently on these boards and it's disappointing that when I finally tried them, it's not going smoothly. I wish I knew more about what happened or where the package is, but the first shipment never got updated, which is why I contacted them. The shipping time was said to be 12-40 days or something like that, but averages 14. So, I wasn't exactly at the maximum number of days, I just wanted to see why there was no update after 30 days. The reply didn't give me any information, only that they checked on the item and are sending me a new package. If I get that second package, than great, but it's still not the best first impression considering I can't even say where the problem occurred nor can I say that they've rectified the situation at this point since I'm still waiting on the second package.

 

Yeah.... The holiday season was probably the worst time to try them out, packages from overseas sucks this time of year.....

 

That's what I tried to said before, it's normal in this season. But he said that Holidays aren't an excuse. XD
