One thing I doubt the MMC version will do but a clever fellow like @dalianjj might with the Protectobots is to give people multiple options, the way they have for their Stunticons and Aerialbots. A lot of folks are quite anal about the scale issues regarding Groove's alt mode so I figured whoever does a proper set might include Rook as a substitute sixth Beatle, as it were, with a tiny partsforming Groove bike to slot into Defensor's chest. That way you can just keep Groove in bot mode or whatever.

 

I think you're giving FansToys too much credit. That sounds more like an MMC move than a FansToys one. But's that my opinion.

I doubt that’s ever gonna happen on this type of figure. When it’s so G1 inspired they’re not gonna pull such a shifting style from another continuity.

Wait how is it legends scaled? Also he’s a head shorter than CW Devastator.

 

I wish they'd deprioritize this in favor of continuing their Remix cassette line.

Do you have to keep saying that? Look I get you want cassettes but you keep bringing it up in threads that aren’t about that. It doesn’t really contribute much. And it’s probably gonna dampen your spirits more if they keep getting avoided.

Apparently not enough noise and discussion around the cassettes played a part in them becoming a lower priority. The irony is the low level of discussion was not indicative of low demand, but because they are such an obvious and expected upcoming product. Things like all-in-one combiners generate much more drama and discussion.

 

Please don't get upset as your frustration grows and my laughter at you get louder through out 2020.

Then why not go to those threads or make a new thread that condenses all the information in one place and try creatively invigorating discussion about the product you want.

By coming to this thread and poking the bear so to speak all you do is continue to push people to chime in on their desire for MMC to continue pushing the combiner. It's kind of counterintuitive to your goal.

 

Because, as noted, there's not much to say in those threads. We're just waiting for them to be produced. As strange as it might seem on the surface, it makes more sense to mention a preference for the other announced products in the combiner thread that is actually watched and active for feedback but which is a product that is not so far ahead yet to preclude them reconsidering their release order, or at least slotting cassettes into the production lineup between combiner limbs.

 

This looks really good, but if it can't scale with Zeta Bruticus/Superion then its not for me. I can only hope that Zeta comes out with their own.

 

I suppose that true to a certain point. It is nice to see the support for the combiners whenever that pot gets stirred.
I'm confident there will be a lull period once Assultus is completed Perhaps we'll see some teasers between now and then or who knows perhaps they have have a couple ready to go for when we do get there.

Nope. S1&S2 characters take priority for me over others. I’ll still happily buy the Autobot cassettes when they come out but Bruticus needs his dance partner.
