Anyway, I'm already off on a tangent to keep me busy - I've realised some of my extra Ratchet fillers might have a flagrant misuse I can put 'em to!

 

The peg on the wrong side is very annoying. I feel like he has the worst “cassette” mode. I do kinda love his Bat mode though. He looks hilarious when you put him in a walking pose with his tiny little feetsies.

I never got the G1 but I have the Encore Wingthing and he looks quite impressive.

The GIJoe crossover comic colour Masterpiece is the best though. I spent way too much getting him but I don’t regret it one bit.

Ugh. I could really go for TFCC Needlenose, and might even be tempted if there's one at TFN. There were a few TFCC treasures on Toyfu's table last year for about £50 apiece, and I really wish I'd had more cash so I could have got one. But chances of an Earthrise Needlenose? I want to believe...

I’d rather a unique mould but also I don’t like Needlenose being a Voyager when the other two are deluxes. If anyone should be bigger I feel like it’s Quake. How big is Spinister next too a seeker?

Don’t get me wrong I’ll take it if it’s the only way I’ll get a Needlenose.

Yeah, I'm not too worried about that card artwork. If Needlenose does show up in Earthrise it will be a more earth-style jet. Probably won't be the ER Seeker mould, so there's room for him to be deluxe. At least, I hope so, as I try to keep all my jetformers at deluxe size so they don't look daft in alt mode together.

Yeah, I'll not get TFCC Needlenose for that very reason. If there's a Fractyl this year though...

Welp, as usual Sapphire Blue has failed me, it's my most incompetent Henchdye, but Mr. Hobby to the rescue!

The full Ratchet Crosshairs kit is black and I don't dig that for his blue bits but it's way easier to paint a bright colour over a lighter surface so even accidentally gone lilac blue is easier to go over than a night black.

Racing Red though? You *Huff* are my number one *Wheeze* Guy!!!

The thighs have it, not as close a red as Sh!tcam would have you believe but still waaay better than black in red!

(I know Crosshairs should sound like Clint Eastwood/Ronald Reagan but that first pose just screamed Brooklyn Italian American to me for some reason!  )

 

Of course, even if the Battlechargers aren't retools of Cliffjumper they may still come in at this new "leguxe" class (legend-ish size deluxe). I would prefer them at Sideswipe's height, but I do suspect we're getting tiddlers now Cliffy has opened that particular floodgate. And Runabout will probably be an even pricier Selects tiddler.

Still, I'll probably swallow my complaints and buy weenie Battlechargers rather than try to track down the TFCC retools of Generations Wheeljack, because I really don't like that mould
