Zeta is solid. The toy look one has a connection issue that troubles some people on one leg. It's fixed on the toon version.

Obviously the only clear thing is that Swindle isn't a jeep, and Vortex is a rip off from Bayverse.

But combined it's excellent. Same to be said about the Superion they did too.

You won't be disappointed. Same design team that came up with Constructor, so there's nothing to surprise you when you get him. If you bought the Bruticon box set, all the figures come in bot mode, so you have to transform the limb bots fully for combined mode. Not sure how Armageddon bots were shipped.

I'd scan the Armageddon/Bruticon thread for tips on Brawls treads. They are a faff. I actually waited for limb mode then ran them round and shortened them to fit. There's a whole "feed them into an S shape in a small inaccessible crevice" thing that is almost impossible to do, so I gave up. They resize easily by detaching links.

 

Pretty much my thoughts. Not a fan of the Constructor (and individuals) mold, cause not MP aesthetics enough to me, but looking at the weathered yellow, I'm amazed about how a piece of beauty it looks. If Old green was released like the weathered green version shown in the pics months ago, I'm afraid I'd be buying it, but not this one.

ShowZ said it’s coming out after Chinese new year, which will start on January the 25th for this year.

Old Green first prototype would have been awesome, i totally agree; but it still remains for sure my favorite version despite the drastic changes they made;

Dirty Yellow looks very evil and it would have been my second choice;

Cell Shaded is interesting, very well painted, but it looks a bit odd in my opinion.

 

Yellow Weathered is still the best looking out of the custom ones IMHO.

 

Looks like the "Old Green" is finally up for full preorder - First up is TFS-Express.

Ships in March at a price of $575.00

This would be my last Constructor purchase as I already have the original Green and the Battle Damaged Yellow.

After this, it's time for another company to step up. Perhaps Ocular Max may produce a smaller, animated version of the Constructicons.  

 

So is this thing going to be available domestically or am I going to have to go through an overseas vender?

$580 is not a joke but the painting work on Old Green (which someone rightly says to be more yellow than green) is very elaborated.

I know its not for everyone (and I'm defintely biased as I have one on preorder), but I love how the cel shaded looks - the colors really pop and it truly looks like a literal cartoon (to me)!

Looking forward to seeing some pics of it outside in a forest/outdoor setting.
