First off I'd suggest you join your alliance Line and/or Discord chat groups. This will allow you to communicate more efficiently with your teammates. Veteran players are a great resource of tips and knowledge. Bounce questions off of them anytime you need help.

Spark allows you to upgrade the special ability of a particular bot. It is one of those most coveted resources in the game and should be used wisely and conservatively. Each ability level increases the effectiveness of that particular ability. You cannot transfer or recover spark once it's applied to a particular bot. Once it's gone, it's gone. Click on any bot you have and in the bottom left you'll see their special ability and the level. Clicking on the ability will show you the cost to upgrade it and what increases you'll get from upgrading.

2* bots should not be upgraded past ability level 2 or 3 (maybe some none at all). 3* bots typically level 3 or 4 at the most. When you start getting 4* bots it's generally safe to upgrade any of them to level 5 ability. Anything above level 5 should be reserved for bots you only use for wars. Once you get to that point your fellow alliance members and leaders can educate you on which bots should be upgraded and to what level. There are specific bots that are particularly effective for use in wars. I would say the same rule applies for 5* bots once you are able to get enough shards for them.

How many points are you putting up an event? How many points did you do this event?

Every alliance in our family will finish and everyone has received the 4*. If you're active, you need a better alliance.

 

I put up around 20k points in events...usually top of my alliance. We just can't seem to get enough people who stay active.

So, how far can a given bot be upgraded? A 2*, 3*, and a 4* all seem to be able to be upgraded only once up to level 20, and I have a number of bots who are reaching max level
