I don't know. I think my mileage varied :)  I absolutely see orange in my Bumblebee and I really wanted him to be yellow. But I suppose he will have to do. IMG_0625.jpg

Couldn't have said it better myself, @chchchch !

Anyone else find 45's transformation a lot of fun? I can do it almost as quickly as 21's now. Really happy with how durable this little guy feels, too. I've never had the sense that anything can break on him.

They’re all fun for me! I actually like all the transformations. Every MP figure has a different aspect to their conversion that I appreciate, even the overly simple ones. MP-21 is an elegant simple transform for a good toy. MP-45 is a delightfully complex transform for a good 3D representation of a 2D image.

Im surprised some people found his as a "difficult" transformation. Its fairly easy, once you realize how the foot hinges work. Not that thats hard either, you just have to understand what you're doing. Same as Hound, I like his transformation better than Sunstreaker's .

Yeah, having transformed Hound 4 times round trip now, it's a really simple transformation actually. I think the instructions get to 49 steps by having to do each foot separately due to the asymmetry, and how many simple folds are in the shoulder cannon and laser scope.

Got around to opening my copy... and he looks a lot better in-hand. Especially the feet. Thankfully he is not as tall in bot mode as I thought he'd be, so he still scales with my other 3P mini-MP bots (like XTB Cliffjumper). Some gapp-age in alt mode, not terrible, and the hips are slightly loose, but not horrible. Paint is on point and looks great. I won't have to shift thru 4 copies like I did with MP-44 Prime thankfully. I like him.

I love it too - it's a lot of fun! I was worried about how much flex I was putting into those rear wheels to flip them in until I realised I was missing an extra click forwards of the faux chest that makes that a totally interference free move - doh!

This thing has hinges and panels as small/thin as MP-47 or even more so but never feels like it will break. Shows it's the material with Hound and not the design as this follows the same rule book and is fine.

Backpack doesn't bother me at all, in fact I think most of it tesselates together amazingly - its just that last layer that isn't able to nest over nice and tight. Feet aren't pretty from the back for sure but never mind. Only other minor gripe is I feel his arms are slightly too short, and they coulda been a little longer if the didnt bother with a space for Spike to ride in.

Great figure overall imho - don't get the hate.

I love this figure! Tons of personality and tons of fun to transform and pose. I was underwhelmed with him for the first day or two but now he's probably in my top 3 all time, right behind 44 Optimus and 36 Megatron.

Yeah, there's a lot of complaining on the boards that MPs have become too complicated and no fun to transform, but this figure says otherwise. I get the same kind of satisfaction changing him as I do the vans and Ultra Magnus, or even the original MP-21!

The arm length is pretty true to the character model though...

I guess you can sort of cheat with his arms using the hinge right below his shoulders. I think he's kind of like Hot Rod, a figure that gets dismissed because of a flaw but is actually a pretty fun figure. I 've transformed mines a ton and no plastic issues just to echo @Liampope about Hound's plastic, people complained about the clear plastic and his lightness but he's a pretty solid, so Hound issues appears to be an outlier.

Get him he’s a charming little dude who’s benefits far outweigh his so-called flaws.

I got Bee yesterday..... I really like the figure.

The faceplate the figure came with installed had a bashed in divot on the nose, but luckily there are 3 of them to choose from.

Yeah I think Amazon Japan was clearing out their stock. The page said 5 left, 2 left, then didn't have a limit.

I managed to get an order in for 6,661 yen, but haven't been charged yet for it.

Wonder what repaint were getting from this, as we'll probably see that first. Toy is pretty much the same color yellow as toon, I don't see that being "different" enough. I wouldn't mind a red one with a more "black" black than 45 and toy face. I also wonder if he'll have a whole new set of accessories too. It would be kind of cool to get a backpack and lab coat maybe swap Spark plug w/Bomb for Spike.
