With you on Sunstreaker from Wheeljack, not with you on Battlechargers from Cliffjumper. When the fan vote winner was announced, Warden made an aside that he wasn't sure how they were going to to do the the distinctive two wheels in the feet configuration for Runamuck. Not only does that not match up with ER Cliffjumper's design, but Cliff was either ready or far along in the design process by the time of announcement. I doubt he'd have made such an aside if the Cliffjumper design was intended as a Battlecharger pretool.

No pin swapping needed. It's a belly screw on both of them. Both robot faces are on the Spasma that came with the siege apeface, since that one is moulded to look like spasma, and the tr master is a miniature apeface robot mode. If I was willing to do pin swapping, I'd swap the thighs as well so the ape mode didn't have that lighter coloured Mohawk, but those are far too small and delicate to even attempt.

Yeah, I'd agree a Sunstreaker from Wheeljack is probably as much a given as a siege optimus remoulded to an earth one when that was first released. Keep his spoiler wings in car mode and somehow have his engine block stick up behind his head. I can see the battlechargers from Cliffjumper, if they were just wanting a simple route. But if they're wanting the dual wheels on the feet, I'd agree that they're gonna have to be a new mould. Maybe share some engineering with Cliff, but I don't see how they'll get the rear wheels to the front of the car on a deluxe figure without partsforming. It could be on an armature that folds out and across the length of the car for alt mode, but that would probably add too much partscount for a deluxe. And then everyone will cry because you have to detach a small piece and plug it on elsewhere and doing so will trigger the apocalypse.

    Speaking of Sunstreaker...
Lads who are likely to get replaced in 2020 #6
Now, I should add that I really like this Sunstreaker. But I couldn't deny that he'd benefit from an upgrade.

Oh, I certainly hope you're right on Cliff, it would be a serious disappointment if that's all Runamok will be. The concern is just from a similar robot mode silhouette with the hood, and Hasbro don't like to have too many similar looks in the same line at once. I mean, with Cliff and Sunstreaker together it makes me wonder just what colour the Cliff redeco might be, since two yellow cars at the same price would be unusual too.

Started watching Robots in Disguise for the first time last night, it's pretty good.

Bumblebee is headlining and leading but isn't in need of a slap, he's even got a voice!

The humour is spot on, my only gripe is that six episodes in it's still animal-based Decepticon of the week.

I think it could be something as simple as Faux Wheels on the feet. I’ve not really looked too much at Cliffjumper to see if that’s a remoulds possibility but cramming two working wheels into the Battlechargers feet could be tricky engineering but we have seen similar feats performed on a deluxe level.

Yeah, it's like that. It's the biggest weakness of the series, the they gave into the studio demands for a monster-of-the-week procedural format because it's considered bankable and safe. There were HBO executives trying to get Game of Thrones to follow a procedural format when it was first greenlit. Thankfully they didn't win through.

I have now ordered a set of the Star Wars Despecialised Editions but will probably have to stop myself shouting "Maclunkey" at the screen when it gets to that moment :D

Had a bit of Christmas cash left after ordering them which went towards Newage Silverstreak so when that arrives I'll get the MP version out of storage and display them together like with the blue ones.

    @Soundwavelover2004,
    Have a great birthday!

Happy birthday to the birthday folks! Hope you guys have a great day, filled with robot gifting.

I started the day beautifully, walking full speed into one of the glass doors in our office with the entire marketing team already inside it. Almost glad it started bleeding as it stemmed some of the embarrassment :lol  No stitches needed, but my dignity took a pounding (like my head).

    All the best

Aww man, I one ran full pelt into a Double glazed door that had swung shut dispute me leaving it open. Hurt like hell. It always makes me laugh when people in tv and film just jump through a window. It’s hard and even if you do you will cut yourself up.

Hope you didn’t get hurt too bad. The best thing to deal with the embarrassment is to laugh at it yourself as I’m sure you are. Plus as you say when people see blood the realise it’s more serious.

gave up on the Amazon.com Scavenger - was getting zero sense out of the customer services bot, so sacked them off and put an order in with kapow (fairly sure their stock is due this week??)

bit mentla at the mo, so will keep it short - loving Pokemon sword - it's just little QOL improvements that i never thought i'd need - and it looks gorgeous to boot..
