DX9's MP scaled line seems to be on on hiatus (like Maketoys). We're still waiting for the rest of the DX9 Stunticons.

 

Does anyone know which (if any) alien mask fits on MP Tracks?
Is it any of the ones that came with XTB Paean, MP Sunstreaker, or DX9 Richthofen?

 

What happened with @WyldeBill? He hasn't been online since April, 2019 (2 months now).

Got him for $20 on ebay. Must be a KO. But looks pretty good. Having an issue with the chest piece not coming out far enough to rotate 180%. I gotta keep trying later. Afraid of breaking it.

 

Must be for $20. Is it all plastic or is there die cast?

 

Pretty sure both of the KOs out there have different branding on the boxes so, if it says DX9 on the box, it should be genuine. Unless you bought it used and somebody stuck a KO in a legit box but that seems like way too much trouble to go to for $20.

 

What you got was a KO and not the DX9 version. Can you post a pic of the box?

They're both fine but the AOD version has better quality.

This figure is STILL great, years later. I think this was where DX9 really grew the beard, so to speak... their first MP figure that legitimately fits into the MP main line. It's honestly hard to see somebody doing significantly better at this character

 

I can't believe it, but it has been almost two years. And no one else has tried. Wish DX9 would try a few more MP's ( I realize they are in the Stunticon game). Maybe some more minis, but with FT in that game maybe not.

 

I bought the AOD KO based on reviews it was better than the official and I think has die-cast where the official does not, however the KO lacks paint. Such a great figure (not a favorite character but) I've thought about trying to find an official at a discount just because. lol

They beat the brakes off FT in the Omega Supreme battle.

 

I'd love to see somebody do him with a real world accurate alt mode but still pull off the toon look for his bot mode. Like what XTB does with their more recent carbots. But otherwise I'm very happy with my aod Richthofen.

 

Loosen the screw in the chest a bit and you should be good.

 

I bought Richtofen because I could simply not live with myself if I bought a KO of a 3rd party figure ...........I was first confronted with this problem with YES Model's Stubbom Buffet. Do you guys want to know what I said to YES Model's Stubbom Buffet? NO! Besides AOD uses TFC plastic which blurs all the details as compared DX9.........so even if I was to ignore my high ethical standards, I would still not buy AOD's version......even though I was tempted for a long time.

 

I don't have either so I'll take your word for it. I know they were definitely competitive there. I like to see options. Since they did so well with Powerglide, I'd like to see more. Especially since Maketoys and Badcube are fading. Or at least it seems that way. Possibly Transform Element has emerged as another contender. Anyway, I still love my Richthofen...
