If this megatron is 48 cm long with trailer he will be around 1/38.. and since I collect SS bots, that sounds interesting.. he would be 10 cm to long trough for botmode, Megs needs to be around the 26 cm to work

 

Especially if BMB/Aoyi do it, Megatron stands out real strong compared to the other upscale SS figures. Shockwave would probably take to the process very well. Upgrades would just involve replacing the soft plastic and giving him an articulated hand.

A decent looking cybertronian tank, probably. It's a transformer, and the aspect of transformation is integral to me.

I dunno, I think we're finally getting to the point where the last 3-4 people outraged over any instances of partsforming have been so alienated by the rest of the fandom that when they do complain publicly, it sounds like they're actually mocking themselves.

 

You'd be surprised how many people try to defend them, tho that doesn't really help their reputation.

 

the trunk from some pictures I've seen should be around 48'6", is that what you're using as a par for the size as well? it'd actually be around 1:31 in trunk mode if that's correct: 48.5*12*2.54 / 48 ~ 31. If you worked it out to be 1:38 I'm wondering what's the truck length you're using since that would mean the chart I've been referencing is wrong (FYI 1:30 would be basically perfect for MP / MPM scale for me). Coincidentally the bot mode would also be 1:30 if it's 35 cm and 35' bot mode. That'd be neigh perfect tbh to match up with the black apple OP. Now I'll have to get this too....

btw not sure if anyone mentioned this yet, but on the weibo page they said the face sculpt is still being worked on, so maybe no more large head sad megs but properly sized angry megs head hopefully.

I used a concept (comparison) drawing with Prime, Prime with Trailer, Sentinel and Mackatron in altmode, there it gives a length.. I could be wrong, especially since we all still have to see the truckmode. It would be more logical to have a MPM-ish scale.

I don't know if I need another 2007-2011 Meg other than LS-06S but this is intriguing.

One thing that really bewilders me is why do hasbro and 3p's have this obsession to give movie megs either a barring teeth face or open mouth face. Can't we have a dignified closed moth growl or a way to move his mouth like MPM movie 1 meg? most ones I remember seeing have their teeth barring in this derp teeth face or open mouth face. if they want to do growl just do a changeable face or at least a proper, menacing growl and not a "brush you teeth" face.
