I’m very far behind on SHF kaiju unfortunately so I don’t have them, but I don’t think any would have a significant issue size-wise next to UA. Gudon and Dada are exclusives so I wouldn’t pass them up if the deal is right.

Good, he comes with the bow. But for some reason releases before Jin?? Lol I just don't get why Jin was set so far out.
Thanks man! Tbh I’m on the fence because still prefer my Ultra collection to be in the 6 inch scale and SHF Dada and King Joe seems shorter compared to my Ultra-act Ultraman and Ultra Seven. That’s why the SHF Gomora’s confused me as its very similar to size with the U/A version.
Since there were several Ultra-Act foes that were too short compared to the Ultras, I guess it doesn’t bother me as much, but also at this point my collection is far more about them than the heroes so I guess it’s just different.
Hey, it's hard to say as I don't own any Ultra Acts, but all of the monsters are in scale with the Figuarts version: Antlar you could probably fudge since his mandibles make him taller (I don't display him with his lower half as you can see), but like I said, everyone else is scaled for the Figuarts versions.
True, with regards to some of the Ultra-Act villains being shorter compared to the heroes. May I know what you mean by “my collection is far more about them”? Does it mean that you give priority to the Ultras? Sick collection man! I so envy you! It seems you got all the original and Seven’s kaijus and seijins to date! Nice set-up too! I concur that the SHF Ultra kaijus and seijins scale well with the Ultras with two exceptions (I think) Baltan is too tall compared to the original and King Joe...in the show, he seems shorter than Seven?
Finally gave this guy a proper unboxing. I have to say, something about the character's bestial nature really lends itself to a highly articulate (and fun) figure.
Thanks. I wish they would do Dino-Tank, Iron Rocks, and Bado for Seven along with Dodongo and Seabozo for Ultraman. I think King Joe is the right size, though now you got me thinking. Not sure about Baltan:
Exact opposite, I meant my collection is about the kaiju and seijin first, the Ultras themselves second. I sold off my Ultra-Acts besides Gaia and Yulian way back, in time to make money before the SHF line geared up, but haven’t gone back for any besides the big Ultraman set. I think if anything UA Baltan II was too short, rather than SHF Baltan too tall. Unsure on King Joe, looks good but then I never had Seven.
You’re really killing me with your collection pictures man! The team-up pix of Ultraman Hayata and Seven is solid! Really dig the first picture of both Seven and KJ’s “reflection”...good homage to the old series! Kudos man! With regards to scale...I really think that Seven was “bigger” than King Joe and was slightly taller. I feel that Bandai made Joe bigger in the SHF line as “bigger” villains are more intimidating? I’ll give my thoughts later below with regards to the scaling. IMO Seven’s pretty well covered in terms of kaiju and seijins releases. There’s Guts, Metron, King Joe and Pandon. Dinotank’s cool but if he’s going to be released, he’s definitely going to be a web exclusive. Interesting choice of Kaijus for the original from you! You’re one of the rare few that I know who chose Dodongo! Its design really reminds me of the kirin, a mythical creature in Asian (chinese) culture. Seabozu! I really enjoyed that episode as a kid! I found it unique at that time that it was a “peaceful” kaiju who simply wanted to return to space. For me, I would like to see Geronimon in the line! Somehow I feel that he’s criminally underused in the franchise as a whole. If I remembered correctly, he was the leader of earth’s kaijus? And his plan was to revive 50 or 60 kaijus to extract revenge on the original? I haven’t watched that episode with my kids yet along with the Seabozu episode. Other kaijus I would like to see from the original would be Bemular, Neronga and Woo. But tbh the “final” batch of Bandai’s 6 inch vinyl are pretty adequate for my collection. For the other series, I would like to see Alien Nackle (Ultraman Jack), Tyrant (Taro) and Birddon (Taro). Ah! Thanks for clearing that up! I get what you mean as the kaijus are the main attraction (to a certain extent for me) too. Personally I find the scale for both the SHF and Ultra Act kaiju to be inconsistent throughout. For example, SHF Baltan scales quite well with his Ultra Act counterpart Baltan II, which could be under scaled to the Ultra Act Ultraman. On the other hand, the SHF Black King is way taller than SHF Ultraman Jack when in the show, they are closer in height but the former being taller. Oh well, I really need to think through on whether to get more SHF kaijus or stick to the vinyls.
You are correct. Pigmon came to the SSSP to warn them about him. Did they ever use him again? Woo would be awesome as I like him and from such a tragic episode.
You mean Geronimon? I really can’t recall man...unlike Woo who re-appeared in either Ace or Leo, Geronimon (I think) didn’t appear again. Even with the Heisei Ultras?
Looks like the SHF Witches have shipped as reviews are going up. DCSG 81 out in front. Unfortunately can't sit thru his reviews because of the godawful looped techno Avengers theme he has in the background of every video now. So intrusive and earwormy. Fig looks good though, however I'm still comfortable with my Legends version from the Vision two-pack.

S.H.フィギュアーツ ジレン レビュー : はっちゃか I don't know if it's because I think Jiren was a lame character, but this figures looks a bit weak. Also not liking the reflection dot on the eyes because it makes him look like he's looking sideways.
