    I grew up with the first two videos song but Carl Parks i couldn't tell you anything about that artist. Now Rod Sewart i know more then the 2nd band. Mainly that Rod Stewart song came out in a time that was werid for me. I started high school that fall.

    As for the video looked up what it was more about and wow pretty deep for a 80s video.


    It's a cold war song. They even say "dropping the bombs" in the song. As for the video those are not homeless but people hiding from the war and bombs. Did you catch a flashing light at the start then the band showed up out of the blue. It ends with them going into a light door. The bomb dropped on the shelter and the band are angels picking the people up and leading them to heaven to be forever young! The flashing light at the start was the bomb dropping. Pretty deep for a 80s music video!

    I learned of the Alphaville song from watching Napoleon Dynamite.
