This scene always takes me out of the movie, how did bumblebee pulled that boat (larger and I assume heavier than him) like that?

Plot...and Michael Bay. But same could be said about Knightverse Bumblebee. How was he able to catch Burns' chopper and hold it?

Also, could it be said that Bayverse Bee is faster than sound? He was dodging soundwaves from Soundwave in DOTM.

Bayverse Bee would win in a fight against Knightverse Bee, but we’d all hate him for it.

An injured Knightverse Bee's body seemed undamaged from a point blank shot from Dropkick's weapon. The same weapon could turn people into goops instantly. How powerful could that weapon be if calculated I wonder?

Dropkick's weapon itself is weird - it just turns flesh, blood, and bone into transparent slime? No char, no blood, no flying bones like in DotM? Given that we don't know what it is, it may not be all that effective against Transformers and Dropkick just fired instinctively with the first weapon he had.

As to the original thread, I'd probably put my money on Bayverse Bee, simply thanks to his superior size and strength - both are skilled combatants, so it would be a close fight, but barring other complications, Bayverse Bee's the more likely winner.

I remember reading someone calculate how much energy it would take to vaporize a person and it came out as enough energy to destroy a building or something like that. I was wondering if one could make a similiar calculation with Dropkick's weapon.

The thing was, that wasn't a vaporization, it was liquefaction, with no apparent excess heat discharge, so I'm not sure that those calculations would apply in that case.

Yeah, the vaporization calculation probably wouldn't apply in this case, but surely liqufying a person like that requires energy. So I was wondering if there was a possible way to calculate it to determine if it was a lot of energy or not much. Maybe there isn't, idk.

Probably not. Either way, it's a weird weapon probably introduced to avoid the PG-13 rating that DotM got when the Decepticons turned their weapons on civilians.

Actually, I have to agree. 'Bee was pretty much the main Autobot in TF2007; and was second only to Prime in the Bayverse. Bayverse Bee had a personality; he was friendly with the humans and his fellow Autobots, but if you harmed those he cared about, you were going down. He had more characterisation than pretty much everyone else.

In fact, he and Knightverse Bee would probably get on very well - they'd share an engex, swap stories, and go out and beat up various incarnation of Hot Shot. (Someone needs to write Into the 'Beeverse - stat)

However, it's hard not to agree with @SPLIT LIP when he says:

Allegedly, the reason for that is that Bumblebee is both Bay and Spielberg's favourite Autobot - so they're obviously going to have him a) survive by any means necessary and b) look like a badass whilst doing so. Even if it's a little arse-pully...

And they seem to have forgotten that characters we care about being in genuine risk of dying is how audiences connect to a story - when I, a straight-as-they-come male, gave more shits about the characters when I saw Frozen than I did when I saw Age of Extinction, you can see why the Bayverse failed...

Honestly I don't see Bayverse and Knightverse Bumblebee fighting it out in a brawl to the finish. I see them more staging a dance off while blasting their favorite tunes from their radios.

Look at it from the perspective of the story. Sam Witwicky is for all intents and purposes the most important human in the universe. If you give him a protector, it would need to be a great warrior.

Bay's Bumblebee looks cooler than Knight's Bee and he is also a killing machine, so I gave my vote to him!
