Someone please tell me how long it will take for my package from sir toys to arrive. It’s been ages since I ordered anything from Sir toys and I don’t remember how long it took for them to get me anything.

 

Last time I ordered from them, it took close to a month. Maybe 5 weeks.

 

I'm pleased to announce that my weapons for Combiner Wars/Unite Warriors Defensor, based on G1 Defensor's Fireball Cannons, are now available.

The weapons that came with CW Hot Spot aren't really substantial enough for Defensor, and the none of the limited upgrade options on the market worked for me, so I decided to make my own. The design is primarily inspired by the G1 weapons (referred to as "Fireball Cannons" in the tech specs), but I was also inspired by how C+ Customs updated the G1 design for their upgrade kit. I added a trigger with trigger guard, since I hadn't seen that on any other combiner weapons I'd seen and it seemed like a fun thing to try.

These are also compatible with 5mm Blast Effect parts from the War For Cybertron trilogy toy line! Pictured with parts from Siege Jetfire.

Versions compatible with all various combiner hands styles are available:

• Perfect Effect
• Transform DreamWave
• Stock CW/UW/PotP
• Universal - no trigger, will work with any hand

No way to know. Also Paul seems to not use a single shipping company to make things more inconsistent.

I'd had nothing but great experience with him until last year when I ordered a KO Devy that has not arrived more than 6 months later. Considering his prior stellar service I'm willing to blame the shippers on this one but honestly I won't be ordering any more from him.

 

That’s unfortunate, got myself a second set of hip replacements for Inferno. You’d think either has Hasbro
or Takara would have caught the problem and fix it themselves by now!

Quick question for y'all; I know that CW Optimus Prime and Battle Core Optimus Prime have different robot mode heads, but does the TFCC Toxitron have a new head, or was that only in promotional material? And if it is a new head, might anyone know if I can get a resin cast of it? I'm starting to amass parts for an SG Optimus Combiner, and think that head would work well.

 

I would just go the shapeways route with @SteamShield 's Venomous Prime (Toxitron) Head. He also has a "damaged" version available.

When I order from SirToys it's usually with me after two to three weeks but I am based in the UK. I think most delays are due to the actual couriers.

I think that the only ways that they could improve Superion are by finding a way to hide Silverbolt's fists, and making him Titan-class (Silverbolt as Leader-class, and the other Aerialbots as Voyagers), and tighter leg ratchets. Otherwise, he's as close to perfect, IMHO, as we could have gotten from Combiner Wars.



YMMV, of course.

For your next project, you should make a back cannon for CW/UW Scattorshot/Computron based off the g1 toy! Ive felt those recent Scattorshot/Computron figures are severely lacking without it

 

Hmm, that's something I've never considered... I'll have to think about that!
