I was very close to ordering a second Bee at that price but unfortunately I’m too paranoid about the quality at this point. I think I was lucky with my first copy so I don’t want to take the risk on a second. I might reconsider it if there’s a reissue and the quality has improved. I do like the figure, but I don’t trust the factory.

Isolated to a few samples. Mine is 99.99% perfect with a slight micro millimeter off right of the the Autobot logo.

My BB 2.0 is very yellow; the color is extremely different from BB 1.0, who was more of a cheese-colored orangey yellow.

 

I just transformed MP-21 to put him back into his box and use MP-45 on the shelf...and wow, his transformation was so enjoyable. I haven't touched him in years, but getting him back to car mode was completely intuitive and I never feared to scratch paint or break anything. He might not look as good as MP-45 in robot mode, but now I wished that the the designer from back then was still designing MPs today -- or even better have to lines, one more for display purposes (aka current MPs) and one for actually playing with (aka old style MPs).

Just to provide a friendly counterpoint, I don't find the older style MPs much fun at all to play with anymore (relatively; all of them are great in the grand scheme of things   ). The increased articulation and expressiveness from around MP-29/MP-33 or so forward makes the newer figures an order of magnitude more fun for me personally to mess around with as I can finally get the poses and expression of character that I've always dreamed of. I also enjoy the increased complexity and puzzle factor of the transformations. By contrast, the older figures feel stiff and lacking in personality to me and I rarely reach for them unless I need to have a particular character in a photo.

It's totally cool for you to feel differently though, and I'd be all for two parallel lines (if it didn't grind the whole release schedule to a halt). Just adding my point of view
