So if BW has a very Star Trek vibe to it then what TF series has a SW vibe to it then?

    Beast Machines.

Megatron is the Emperor with his Empire of mindless Stomrtroopers (vehicons). A small team of fanatatical zealots who's religion gives them mysterious powers (Jedi/Oracle) fights the Emperor using guerilla warfare tactics.

Both end with the Emperor falling down a pit.

Stargate is probably my favorite “Star” franchise.

To kinda keep it somewhat on topic, I was so excited when back when Hasbro was doing the Titaniums line to hear rumors they had plans to included some of the Stargate ships and the gate itself, but they sadly never materialized.

Much like Hasbro with Beast Wars, I’m disappointed MGM has had little to nothing planned for the property.

I was just coming off Farscape when they wrote off O'Niel, so Ben Bowder coming in didn't ruin it for me. You could tell the writing was running out of ideas though.

For Stargate overall, it was a great series. They did the BEST Groundhog Day episode of any series period.

I hear what y'all are saying, and I'mma let y'all finish. But me just point out...

Farscape is the best SciFi series.

Up to and including Firefly. And you all know how much I love Firefly.

WACKO! (The ketchup and mustard plate) loved that episode.

I am hoping with Cheetor from Cyberverse that might open audiences to being interested in beast formers.

(Also DS9 is my favorite Trek show, showed what life was like beyond the life of Starfleet. reminds me of Babylon 5)

Best on TV right now is The Expanse. If anyone is looking for a great, current, sci-fi show.

Let's keep the focus on BW, lol. I say that as a huge Wars and Trek fan.

At first, I was like, "but it ALL takes place on the same planet..."
And then came your reasoning, and I was like, "damn... "

    And yeah, Stargate ...

Don't forget, both stories have someone fighting on the good team, who flirted with their darkside but largely fought on the light side of the force before the Emperor took over, at which point he switched over to the darkside, only finding his place on the good side again at death.

    Rhinox and Anikan.

Many of the guys over at FunPub, and friends of mine who know guys within Hasbro, say the current TF-VP absolutely detests Beast Wars... they want nothing to do with it. Optimal Optimus was one of Aaron Archer’s designs when he was freelancing for Hasbro.

Is there any proof of this? Cause we've heard Warden talk about how BW means for a lot of people and he told us to expect something big for the BW fandom next year.
