They kinda did with the city space stuff, plus it has to be easier to deal with one group for rights the hitting a different one for each project.

I mean I think it is, and there is a whole outside of LEGO collectors group NASA fan people, but that’s kind of true for anything really, but usually doesn’t have enough merch.

Side note picked up the Mando set, which has been completely sold out in the Portland area, I blame scalpers.

Still it’s pretty fun, and unlike some of the other troop builder sets you can mix them up which adds a bit to the play pattern, unless you are the type to want like 30 storm troopers.

This is really cool. Will get this to match with the Saturn V!

Also is the Mandalorian battle pack rare? I found eight at a local Target and I remember people freaking out about it. Ah well, Lego sets usually aren't all that hard to find until they retire.

The Mando battle pack was scarce at first but it's showing up in greater numbers. I found some at Target too and I think it's available online now as well. Eventually it will be 20% off at some point I'm sure.

Haha, okay good to know. I bought one just in case I wouldn't see it again.

While neat, I have no affinity for the stadium (I don’t follow soccer). Some of the major American parks from different sports would be definitely catch my interest.

Same here. I would love a Yankee Stadium in Lego form, personally speaking.

Black-haired guy: “Dude, we could totally make this into a Godzilla diorama. He’d smash the whole stadium apart and be like “RAAAGH!” ”

Bearded guy: *sighs* “Just shut up and finish the model, Stan.”

Got four more DC series today, hope the four I ordered from the LEGO store will at least have one or two I still need from the last five to finish the set.

Sweet, still haven't found that poly. TRU.CA was sold out and Wal-Mart doesn't tend to restock January very often. Hope that Captain Marvel poly shows up soon.

OMG. Lego IDEAS Godzilla. Someone needs to design one. Any of the Godzillas would do, though I'm partial to the Toho one.

The COOLEST thing about the Speed Champs '85 Audi Quattro S1? The driver's dual sided head. One side he has a confident grin, the other he looks terrified. Which is fitting if you know anything about the state of Rally racing in 1985. Look up the sordid and infamous history of Group B regulations! I love this car. I got two of the early Speed Champs stuff when they first came out but the six stud single seat cars disappointed me. Even the cool ones just weren't shaped as well as I'd like. But these 8 stud cars are a hell of an improvement from what I've seen already! My only gripe about the Audi is that lacks the majority of the sponsor decals. Haus Bergmann cigarettes(HB), Michelin, Ralley Sanremo, among others. Still, I get it. Lego certainly wouldn't look to get all the licenses at once, and for HB it wouldn't fit their kid friendly ideals.

Looking forward to getting more Speed Champs. I really love these guys!
