I wonder why all these Gabriels suddenly re appear for 50 or so dollars cheaper. I thought I'd paid about 230-240 back then. (Incl ship). It has to be a second run, because they were dried up for quite a time.
Anyway, great piece! First had the FT Terminus, but sold it after I got Gabriel. FT is a fantastic bot though. But Gabriel is just more Omega Supreme to me.

Also, wasn't there the plan to make a tinier Omega from DX9? More G1 size?

I highly recommend having Gabriel delivered to work or held at FedEx or UPS center. The box is the size of a medium microwave and approx. 25lbs. It's BEGGING porch pirates to take it.

 

Yeah I just notified the post office to hold it and I’ll come pick it up, sounds beefy

 

Fedex sucks. Left this sucker in the middle of my driveway, out of view of my Ring, and on a day where rain came 2 hours later. Complaint filed.

Figure looks great though. Dwarfs my OS Jinbao Devastator even with the upgrade kit.

 

Hope no damage was done to Gabriels box. You got a crap FedEx driver. All my delivery drivers put it right at my door step in on the chair that is in front of my door. If it's my USPS delivery person they always wait till I answer the door to chit chat since they know I work from home. Have had the same mail person for 4 years now.

 

My local delivery service put my package in front of my apartment's unit for 8 hours without telling me

 

Figure was fine. Luckily I was home today so it couldn't have been out there more than 30min. but would've been pissed any other day.

Should've thought about placement before ordering. Lol. This figure is much bigger than I had anticipated.

 

If your box is still there, at least now you know you have good neighbors.

This is something I see happen fairly regularly to the US members on here. I'm assuming there are much more relaxed rules around what postage companies can do with parcels if no one is home in the US? I've never had a parcel left outside my house (living in UK) from any of the postal services available here. They always either leave with a neighbour and notify me of which one, or take it back to the local depot and leave a card for you to collect. Unless you give them permission to, no delivery service over here would do that (at least in my experience). They don't want the liability for lost/damaged parcels. Leaving parcels in full public view in front of peoples houses just seems like the postal services over there are all a bunch of cowboys.

Still, glad it was intact by the time you got home.

 

It also depends on what type of neighborhood you live in. I live in the far northwest suburbs of Chicago where not much goes on,so they leave it at my door step. When I lived closer to the city(like only 5 min from the city border). The delivery services would hold onto my package till someone was home or you signed the slip saying it was ok for them to leave it.

Most services in the US keep track of areas where package theft is higher or lower.

I don’t think it’s been mentioned anywhere yet, so just I wanna clear up for everyone that this guy is BIG! Like picking up a toddler.

I had both these guys preordered for months and they both just showed up for my birthday! Love em both, but Gabriel is pretty stunning.



The styrofoam broke during shipping and his legs were dangling around a bit so I was worried but he’s all good. Everything is silky smooth and lights working great.

 

He is missing his wings.

This big boy plus getting Zeta Kronos all together is making me rethink my display. Movie bots are going to be moving to a different shelf soon

 

Yeah I totally forgot his wings and just started taking pics.

I have a similar place for mine with Phoenix, but I’m gonna have to reorganize a shelf to fit him in, nice setup!
