In 2021, we get Unicron. As a nice set of Selects figures for the collectors (rather than releasing them at normal retail), could Hasbro produce The Thirteen?

For example:

• I recall someone mentioned recently that Siege Megatron could be redecoed for a nice Megatronus/The Fallen
  
• If we get a Deathsaurus in WFC, he could be redecoed for Onyx Prime
  
• We have a Quintesson Judge coming who could be used for Quintus Prime
  
• Some Combiner Wars figures get reused for Nexus Prime
  
• A Micromaster or Battle Master for Micronus Prime

Seems like a good tie-in opportunity.

That's one of the benefits of just releasing a handful per year. They won't suffer much from the combiner burn-out that CW caused. Like 2 Constructicons, a Combaticon & an Aerialbot the first year. I don't see that as an overload.

How about a transparent purple reformat-scan Megatron?

 

There's a rumour of a TF:TM exclusive box set thing, so a purple formatting Megatron and Ghost Starscream could also be on the cards.

 

If the cel shaded figures are an indication, they might be able to do the formatting grid lines.

 

Just give us a Super Megatron esque earthrise figure and I will be happy

You got my vote, I've long wanted a proper 13 line or subline considering how key they are to much of TF lore since first introduced. I'm a bit warey of them as Selects UNLESS Hasbro Selects starts doing more extensive retooling - like Takara Select is doing for the Seacons for example - as I feel these bots deserve more than just being new heads and recolours of existing figures.
Ideally I'd see the 13 as a Generations subline with a mixture of retools where appropriate and new molds where appropriate. Such a subline could also fit in well with potentially any line - except perhaps more extreme stylized like Cyberverse.
For example Onyx Prime I'd love to have as the mecha centaur look which would require a new mold IMO
When I've made similar suggestions I also like the idea of each figure having a gimmick to match their role so Nexus Prime could be advertised as being able to form a combiner with any bots - yes I know Nexus Prime is the entire combined form but they could also say the Torso is Nexus Prime too  
As you say Micronus being able to turn into some kind of accessory makes sense.
Naturally I would also love to have them come with their assorted weapons and accessories.

 

Yup! In Takara's Generations Selects and I think he was teased alongside Snaptrap. And I think he is gonna be retooled from Titan's Return Galvatron.

And? We got 5 additional selects reveals from Takara that weren’t part of the initial 3 figure tease. Of the 8 figures total only 1 has gotten released. Not seeing anything new doesn’t mean it’s not happening

 

It's probably next in line once they get the Seacons out there
