I'm at $15,500* give or take $100. Online stuff was easy to track, but I had to do some guess work on things like TFCon hauls and random toy shows here and there. About what I imagined it would be though. I feel weirdly good about seeing a number on it though haha.

*Had to amend that, forgot a whole mess of stuff haha. My vote is now wrong though...

Including comics, art books, videogams, movies and cabinets for figures. Too much my wife would say.

If I'd tried to make a proper go of it, I'd probably have a heart-attack in the middle of tallying it all up. So I think I'm gonna pass...

Turns out I was way off. Just the transformers in my house totalled to $8100. Most of those are MP but there's also a smattering of G1 reissues, a couple of movie bots and a few other randos. And that number is probably still low - there were some I couldn't remember how much I spent so I estimated and probably dropped $10-20 from a few figures.

Adding in my deskbots (legends, titans, and alternators), that brings my total to $9900. Adding in the pre-orders I've already paid for puts it just over $10k. If we're counting display cases, that's another $300. Then the misc toys I don't display that are in boxes in our storage room somewhere probably come to about $300-400. So just under $11k. And 90% of that in just the last 4-5 years. Damn. And I've probably spent somewhere in the vicinity of $3k on non-TF toys in the same time period.

It actually feels pretty bad thinking about it and what I could've done with that money. That would be a chunk of a house down payment or replacements for pretty much all the furniture we don't like. A nice chunk off of my student loan debt. Or just savings set aside for my wife who is twelve years younger than me and going to outlive me by a lot. This started as an interesting question but has turned into the "make Snaku feel bad about his life choices" thread :(

    Approximately $8675.67 USD.

I've been collecting for a over a year but had to do a lot of catching up. It took about a half hour of logging into all my online store accounts and adding up the totals, then going through all my eBay receipts. There is one figure I can't find the receipt for, so its a little more than that total.

Unfortunately, it'll probably be over $10K by the time I finish FansToys Marauder and Ethereon, XTB Monolith, Make Toys remaining Coneheads, and some other random FansToys stuff that hasn't been released yet.

And that's why I said I wasn't even going to give it a thought. Painful.

I never thought about it until this thread. Off the top, I guesstimated about $3K, but I reviewed the list of MP's on Wiki, which is what I primarily collect, guessed what I spent and added the 3rd party figures and HOLY CRAP, it's WELL over $5K!! I didn't even consider all the convention exclusives, the 10 Gnaw's, the 8 Wreck-Gar's, the Walmart and Walgreen's exclusives, the discounted CHUG figures that I got from Ross... Ultimately, it's probably well over $6K.

I'd say that I have a plastic problem, until I think about it for a spell. If I'm ever down on my luck, I can sell a portion of my collection for a decent return "to light my darkest hour..." and buying this stuff sure beats a drug or alcohol addiction, gambling habit or frequenting strip clubs. You can't recover those funds.

I keep a spreadsheet of all my spending so this was easy!
All in all I'm roughly $3000 in. Best money ever spent!

I'm at upwards of $6,000, not accounting for shipping costs, displays and lighting. Not too bad, I think.

I would vote for no clue, but money's still a concern for me, just that I don't want to think of other possible good things I would've gotten instead.

I started adding it up, almost only MP/3P (most mainline stuff I bought at Target/Walmart/ToysRUs and I can't check the prices easily like I can MP/3P which are all on my account history online) and I just simply stopped after I got past $25,000 since there was no higher level on the poll. I'd have to be incredibly lucky to make back 1/5th of that if I sold it though.

    AUD $3526.17 since November 2018.

Plus another $100 deposit on Unicron (and therefore a commitment to spend another $748).

Still less than my other hobbies (I once had an addiction to lead...)
