For the MP cars, which are the best KOs to get? I was looking at Prowl, Ratchet and Tracks. Sunstreaker I already know.

Wanted some cars to compliment my THF Magnus.

 

I've heard that that most KO MP cars based on the earlier Hasui MP cars mold (Datsuns, Lambos) aren't that great quality, and that the officials have much better quality.
However KO MP Tracks is much better than the official. I can personally vouch for that, especially if you are still able to score a KO MP Tracks with rubber tires.
Why go through more involved process of ordering through Taobao for cheap priced MP KOs??
They're all over Ebay. That's where I got my Tracks and Sunstreaker KOs from.
I don't think there is much of a cost savings (if any at all) of getting them through Taobao. Plus if you are shipping to the USA, there's a 60% chance that the Zhongshan city Taobao warehouse will open your items box to inspect for contraband. Not sure the lack of cost savings via Taobao it is really worth it for getting an item that won't arrive MISB.

 

Thanks CM. There's like maybe a $3-$5 difference from Taobao, which would probably end up not mattering after shipping.

If they aren't on the lists, run a search for the seller's name on the thread and see what comes up. Still, if nothing comes up simply post questions asking about the reliability of the seller.

 

Just went to look at that pick up option. Airfreight to my house is 2 yuan more expensive. That is all. No real savings there.

No problem. I used an Excel sheet a while back to compare ship vs pick up options to decide which was better and I went all in on pick up. Makes it very easy to compare final costs when looking at figures and items. Generally, the sellers know the approx weight otherwise Google can help. But generally a limb or car bot is under 500gm and today's combiners limbs are 1kg. You get pretty good at guestimating correctly

 

Hello, do anyone here who ordered Fans Hobby God Armor and/or X-Transbots Gravestone already have information about their weight?? I'm guessing around 1 kg but if someone has the box weight would be great. Thanks for any help.

 

Gravestone is in my warehouse right now and weighs 1.025kg

Gravestone was 0.954

 

Bad form to post back to back and then to also reply to one of my old posts.............. but I think this is worth it.

I figured out what's tripping the GST.... It has nothing to do with what State I'm shipping to, be it default or my home state. It's because the pick up option is selected at check out. It was defaulting to this as it's the option I use for all my orders. After un ticking the area circled in green, irrespective of what State I was choosing as my end address, this removed GST.

Anyone in Australia considering pick up as an option, don't choose it at the check out phase, only select it when consolidating and paying for international shipment.

 

My FT Goose was delivered yesterday.

Wanna know how it compares to the JJ-02 Aerialbots. I know Goose is better, but wondered how much better.

BTW, JJ-02 is amazing.

Thank you for your help and replies!! The weight is similar to what i thought. Actually my FH God Armor has just arrived to my warehouse and the weight was a bit less (around 1.5 kg) so i guess i got lucky.

Yesterday, I opened my newly delivered FT-30C Goose
as well as my DX9 Capone which was delivered last month but I just now got to opening it.
Both came for Taobao seller Thor Toys.

I'm pleased to say that they were both delivered to me unopened, MISB fresh from the factory.
They each arrived in the actual cardboard shipping boxes that the seller packed them in. Fortunately, the hongshan warehouse staff didn't get the chance to remove the cardboard boxes, inspect the contents and then ship them out in plastic shipping bag with no real protection.
It was nice to receive Taobao orders, especially the FT item fresh from the factory including the factory bubble wrap and for FT Goose, clear plastic wrap and bubble wrap.

I received the items in this condition because as soon as I received the Aliwang app notification on my desktop that they have been signed and stored into the warehouse, I IMMEDIATELY paid the shipping fee and had them shipped out, thus giving the warehouse no chance to inspect them. I just happened to be in front of my PC each time I saw the app notification. Usually those notifications pop up in the middle of the night while I'm asleep or when I'm away at work and I can't get to it until hours later.

I wasn't so lucky with my FT Jabber which came from the same seller but got opened by the warehouse staff, cardboard box removed by them and replaced with a plastic shipping bag. The USPS delivery driver was too lazy to deliver it on my porch and she shoved it into my mailbox, damaging the FT item box.

I really wish Taobao still had the JCEX Jiacheng warehouse shipping option where they don't open packages.

 

My Goose arrived today. Nice to finally have it after all the headache.

$1.25 lost to Bibic (pre-order cost plus order cost, but I actually made money back on the refund exchange rate, so that offset some of the lost pre-order cost.
$87.70 (Y559.00 item + Y41.78 sales tax + Y12.00 local delivery - Y20.00 coupon = Y592.78 + 17.76 alipay)

Order placed on 1/1/20 and delivered on 1/18/20 to Northern California.
Didn't let it sit in the Taobao warehouse for long, 1 day at most.
Goose arrived sealed, with factory plastic bag, then bubble wrap, then cut to fit shipping box (so no excessive shipping packaging).
FedEx handled the all of the delivery once it was in the US.

No problems at all with Toys Home, mqtl, so certainly recommended based on this one experience.
