Detritus seems like the "merc" version of Swindle. Kinda.

    -Jeep
    -Arms dealer
    -Similar color

    ...sorta.

    Swindle is a leg
    That's very offensive to him

If we could get a new CW compatible Swindle, that would be sooooo sweet!

I never like the alt-mode of the one we got... too greebly.

in terms of playability... I feel Landcross would be a great release, I wonder if they would ever consider all the figures that make up the robot?

I mean, he should could still come with his legacy gimmick and still be sold without his teammates. Keep in mind that Hasbro would probably do it Combiner Wars style so you could just replace CW Swindle with the new one on your Bruticus.

An Animated-inspired Swindle would be the perfect fit. Here we've got a non-combiner version of the character who outright says in his first appearance that he's an intergalactic arms dealer, who is also not technically aligned with any faction.

He is getting hard to resist

I hope someone from IDW is reading this

Well if WFC is a reboot and obviously not a follow up to combiner wars then I guess in this continuity it does depend what a combiner is. Can a combiner be any close group of bots that use the enigma of combination or do they have to be made to be combiners like the original cartoon.

Personal I love the Combaticons as individual bots, and a team. Swindle was always the wildcard schemer too.

So I'd love a stand alone Swindle figure, but I do think they'll keep those groups together if they do them at all.

Still hoping we get some bots with neither autobot or decepticon insignias

I hope we get all the mercs from the TCG although with limited deluxe spaces left that Catz hint about a merc pack might be the only way.

No waist swivel in robot mode and jet looks kinda hollow underneath, but that's about it for me.

    Ok, here I go again.

It's that fourth wave, the outstanding leaders, and the exclusives that remain unclear. But, hopefully, this makes sense of the potential reuses we could expect and more or less fits the shape of what we had in Siege.

There's about 75 individual characters to Siege's ninety, and the Micros and Battlemasters will likely fill that up. a Little over a third of this fits my 'Kinda Risky In Hasbro's Eye' classification, so I've probably gone overboard on outside chances, like Diaclone repaints and such like. Hand on heart, I seriously doubt we're getting Slicer and Exhaust, but one never knows.

I'm really beginning to think that the Voyager/Leader sized bases that Catz saw an illustration of may not make it to the final line (or at least not this line). Or, at best, we'll see just one instance. Hence me putting in Fire Convoy as a fence sitting option.

Also, assuming that the Wheeljack and Sunstreaker do wind up sharing a mold, I think nearly everyone on here has a second use. The only real outlier is Fire Convoy. Which again makes me a bit sus that we're actually going to get him.

As ever, I feel unqualified to speculate on Battlemasters and Micros. More than happy for someone more confident about those size classes and their progenitors to chime in.

    Deluxe:
    Wheeljack, Hoist, Ironworks, Cliffjumper,
    Arcee, Smokescreen, Alicon, Airwave,
    Fasttrack, Runamuck, Trailbreaker, Sunstreaker
    Greasepit, Bumblebee, Jazz, Tracks

    Voyager:
    Grapple, Earth Starscream
    Energon Megatron
    Snapdragon, Quintesson Judge
    Inferno, Thrust

    Leader:
    Optimus Prime
    Double Dealer
    Fire Convoy
Cybertron Defense Red Alert (from Double dealer)

    Commander: Sky Lynx

    Titan: Scorponok

Exclusives (I daresay that if I've got anything right below then I've likely put it in the wrong place. Hauler is as good a Selects release as he is a Target exclusive, but whatever)

    Walgreens:
    Runabout

    Fan Vote pack:
Some premium deco of Runabout and Runamuck. Maybe they come with a vandalized Statue of Liberty?

    Amazon:
Quintesson five-pack (repaints of Voyager Quintesson Judge, Deluxe Quintesson Alicon, some Micromaster team, and a Battlemaster)
Beast Wars two-pack featuring Optimus Primal (Apeface) and BW Megatron (Snapdragon)
Coneheads two-pack featuring Dirge and Ramjet

    Walmart:
    The Mercenaries!
    Deadlock from Springer
    Mudflap from Grapple
    Lockdown from Wheeljack
    Detritus from Hound

    Selects:
Artfire (I'm picking this character over Hauler for thematic continuity with Selects Ricochet)
    Roadrage
Flamewar from Arcee (credit to my man @Seeaich)
    Hubcap
    Slicer
Some clever Modulator redos. @BombSquad made the suggestion of Hook, Line, and Sinker from Furman's US G1 run. I think this is pretty compelling. I struggle to think of a better use.
    Toy head Bumblebee
    Earth mode Thundercracker and Skywarp
Blackout (there's got to be a second head use for Spinister! I honestly think this fits the mold, and WfC's patterns, more than Whirl or Rotorstorm)
    Black and white Astrotrain

    Target:
    Some unambitious repaints?
Black Galvatron feels like a decent use of the Energon Megatron model. Maybe in WFC:III they're not even going to get to the characters whose origins are inextricably tied to TF:TM and they'll just give us a regular ol' Galvatron repaint right here.
Perhaps Slicer goes in here and we get Exhaust in Selects?
This'd be a good place to drop Hauler, or maybe some Diaclone coloured Sunstreaker, Hoist and Trailbreaker.
    Maybe a Ghost Starscream?
Maybe we're going to get more Micro fun. You can actually easily redo a lot of the Micro combiners as the major point of difference is the roof-mounted attachments.
Maybe they'll surprise us and give us some more Throttlebots from Runabout/Runamuck mold? Searchlight, Chase, and Freeway seem like the most obvious candidates. Goldbug from Bumblebee might work if they're happy to pay for a new head. Poor old Rollbar and Wideload!

    Convention/shared exclusive:
    Nemesis Prime

Painstakingly scrolling through that vid on pause to see if my theory of a limited waist turn behind the underpants-shaped front skirt, failing totally.
Do we know from official statements he'll have zero waist articulation? It's not a deal breaker for me seeing that perfect dynamic curve of the jet mode, still 100% glad I skipped the Siege Tetrajets. Fings crossed I don't have a massive wait for his fellow first season seekers!

How would you feel if you were just regarded as a leg for the rest of your life when you have more personality than the person that leg makes up >:[ from now on why don’t we consider you a leg orange, see how you feel >>>>:[[[

I’d be fine if he combined just that if he felt like his own figure that so happened to combine

Who? I’ve never heard of this person before, all combiner components need more love than just “oh yea I only like em because I can turn em into an arm or a leg”

    Very true.
There are certainly things I like about the mold and it is a fun mold. I have gotten rid of my fair share of toys, but I'm not planning on parting with my UCyclonus yet.
I just don't think it's on the level a propos screen accuracy as the classic seeker mold was.
In fact, I think the classic seeker mold is about the only early generations mold with which they could do what they did.

Yeah. I'd rather see a chugified Animated Swindle than a new CW Swindle while it's Brawl who needs a new CW toy most.

That's actually what I've been getting at. ;-D Random CW-compatible bots whose combining feature is a mere side to their characters, rather than their characters themselves.

Anyone else think that when we do see Buzzsaw (from Siege Laserbeak) that he will have the classic "two-eyes"/"earth" head? That will have people screaming for Laserbeak to be re-issued with that head. And Hasbro will put it a Soundwave repaint (probably Siege if no better option exists) done in more Sunbow style (red eyes, light grey/white in place of silver). That would be a monster exclusive. Might even have Frenzy variants around, one in toy blues and another in Sunbow purples...

I've got a hunch that maybe leaders made for ER can combine with their parts to make a base, a la titans return, but more refined.

That's fair! I do like the look of him overall, I will wait for a full review before deciding though, it's cool that this new version appeals to so many people, I definitely think it's a subjective thing, just for me personally the ankle tilt and waist swivel is something that got me into collecting the WFC TF's so it's kind of a selling point
