I voted for stomp because it is a poll but for me it’s Rioter Despotron. Super poseable, mean as hell looking, he turns into a futuristic pistol, has a matrix for prime’s sake. The fact that it’s an original design is awesome. I could go on and on. Shout out to @LazyAza for suggesting I take a look at it. Don’t worry mate, I bought the MMC one as well:p

I don't own 7 of these and others would never get my vote haha. Oh well.

I guess of the list my favorite is GreenGiant but eh toy making has advanced so intensely in the last 3 years specifically I would honestly disqualify anything released prior to 2017 at this point.

With all that said, the best 3p thing of the previous decade? Striker Manus.

Highly articulated, gorgeous, very well made, the most iconic character of the franchise and an original stylized design take on him. I measure all Optimus toys relative to him ever since I got him and its a shame I've yet to own an mp OP I like as much as Striker.

Something like that I guess. Any vote is a bit of a popularity contest.
I knew my big faves, Maketoys Gundog and Downbeat, would never make those kind of lists. That's ok. A lot of the things that did win were not my faves either.
I saw my first big favorite though, Maketoys Giant. That's what got me into this whole thing, and I still think it's fantastic.
But I gotta give it up to Feral Rex. The individual robots are really great. The construction is really great. The combined form is really great. That thing was a really big deal and it's still a really big deal.

I know that Transform Element Optimus is nice. But, there are a dozen Masterpiece Optimus Prime figures.

I would say it’s a toss up between Fans Toys Stomp and Phoenix.

There are, but for me, TE01 gets the prize because he's the closest to being flawless. Other than a few articulation issues, he's managed to not only be cartoon accurate, but also almost seamless. I've had him on my desk and co-workers think it's a statue! He's just amazingly solid. He doesn't look like he'd transform, but he does! Even truck mode is almost flawless, other than the slight thickness of the back axles and the thighs/crotch area. The cab tabs in solidly and looks great. Better than any toy truck from HotWheels or Tonka. That took tremendous skill to design. Even Fanstoys hasn't managed as flawless a design.

My vote came down to the same two figures. I went with Stomp, hes pretty perfect and I enjoy transforming him but Phoenix is awesome as well!

They're good figures, but they're not top tier figures.

definitely higher tier than the igear coneheads and that FP add on kit, so if those things somehow made the list, Giga definitely should. ( probably to not possibly have FT's dinobot on the list lose to a competitor...)

Those figures were released in 2010/2011 and were considered some of the best figures that were released that year witch is why they are on there.

The first Gigapower Dinobot wasnt released until 2015 and some were released after that in years with no direct FT Dinobot competition in those years.

The format is very simple, the winner of the 3P figure of the year from polls on this forum for the last 8 years were all included, then a reasonable selection of the best of what was released in 2010 and 2011 were chosen to fill in the decade. If even the worst of Giga's Dinos had come out in 2011 (let alone a better one) it would have easily smashed the iGear coneheads, but none did and thus could not replace it. Prowl83 mentioned the first Giga dino was in 2015, so it would have been up against Apollyon. Guttur was better than Apollyon, but Snarl is never going to beat the only Megatron to go with MP-10 at the time. After Apollyon (chronologically) Quietus is probably the weakest annual winner, I have no idea if any Giga dinos came out in 2018 or not, but even if they did clearly people didn't vote for it at the time.

Guess I just sorta hoped for a more overall decade look rather than voting for a figure of a decade and only having 1 pick for each year.....

If someone wanted to they could probably run a full vote, start with a Nomination stage like happened with last years figure of the year then take the top vote getters for a final poll. Just requires someone motivated to run it.
