Probably not but my DF one has hip issues so they're kinda the same to me. This is all just my opinion though.

Eh is that a fair comparison though? One's the old leader class and the other is the Studio Series. I don't have either so I can't really weigh in on that argument.
Again, I think if DF stuck with the modified leader class it'd be a much different story.

It's the truth sadly. The plastic on many of their figures is pretty good but Brawl...

Truth is, DF really surprised me by how much engineering their Bonecrusher had. Besides the tiny hinge that holds the pelvis snapping on my copy, I literally have no other problems with him (although wrist rotation and tighter/better claw pegs would be nice)

My point is, they are a small company compared to Unique Toys, BMB, or WJ, but their one completely original figure released so far really impressed me, so if they are taking longer with this one (remember, Bonecrusher was announced about 5 years before release) is maybe they are making a decision on it.

On the other hand, seeing WJ or BMB tackle an upscaled DOTM SS Megatron would be sweet

 

Yeah their Bonecrusher is awesome. And it's one of the reasons I got back into collecting about a year ago. The partsforming is also a drawback, but for a figure that good i can live with it. I have a feeling whatever decision they make will be the right one, as their Bonecrusher and RotF Megatron both turned out great, even if it took ages for them to be released  
What worries me is the scale though. Their RotF Megs and Wreckers were in scale with MPM-4 while their Bonecrusher is closer to MPM-3s scale.

I think that with some modifications both of them could probably do a really good job with him. Fixing the blockniess would be quite a challenge though.

 

Well, to be fair, if HasTak can’t even be bothered to be consistent with scale in their own line then why should anyone else?
Either MPM scale would be fine- but bigger is always better.

 

If someone makes a mistake that doesn't make it ok for anyone to commit the exact same mistake.

There's no correct scale (unless you want to count how all 3rd parties follow the carbot scale), it's just that having two scales in the same line was not a good decision.

 

Hopefully they keep this consistent with the MPM4/ROTF Leader Prime scale they were working off of during the last update, this would be perfect for me!

I just saw this same post! I wish we knew what company it was from but it looks promising! Right now I want to know size and potential color layout.

 

Update: Apparently this is from a new 3P company called "Exquisite Toys"? Perhaps this is what Dreamfactory rebranded to as we've supposedly heard they would?
