    Oh well, thanks for checking.

Looked at 2 more myself today. One had... nothing. The other had I think just one case out, but Ludwig gone already. Thinking about another one nearby I might go to tomorrow, but not expecting to get lucky at this point.

My Target had Piranha Plant, who I had nearly forgotten even existed.

Checked one last Target today. They had what looked like 2 cases I'm guessing based on there just being a ton of POW Marios... But no Ludwigs left. Nuts.

Learned yesterday that Kamek is going to be in the next wave. Bet he'll be just as fun to find lol.

Is there any resource on all the 2" series out there? The only thing I've found remotely helpful is Entertainment Earth's listing of case breakdowns on newer series.

Every so often at Walmart or Target I'll pick up minis I don't already have, and it's helpful to know which ones are the more scarce and less likely to reappear out of current sets (particularly the checkstand versions), as well as see what I don't have out of older releases. I only care about the Mario stuff though, not really bothered by any others. Yes, I am part of the problem mwahahaha.

Big Koopaling fan here... was having no luck finding Ludwig and finally bit the bullet and bought him off eBay for like 2.5x the retail price. Arrived a couple days ago.

Walked into Target tonight, and boom, there he was right on the front of the peg.

    Never. Freaking. Fails.

Ah well... at least I've got him. :p

I’ll have to take another look! Last time I did was only a little helpful. I do like how I keep ending up with Walgreen’s exclusives with minimal effort though!

Heh I caved too and got one on eBay as well. Pretty happy with him, but.. ehh on the price still. Haven't had that luck of finding one in stores after though lol.

Iggy's weirdly back in stock and sold by Amazon right now too. He should be arriving here today. Never thought he'd drop from that $70 price range.

There's also a yellow Yoshi, a sky-blue Shy Guy, and a couple of Marios in the wave. There's this weird glue residue on his torso that I'm gonna see if I can remove, it was on both of the ones I saw at the store.

I got lucky and stumbled across a full case at a store that hasn't had anything new from other toy lines in a while. So maybe people aren't hanging around there.

I want a Shyguy. Can we get a Snifit? In fact I would LOVE to get some baddies unique to SMB2. Mouser, Tryclyde, King Wart, Cobrat, Flurry, Ostro.

Good luck with that. SMB2 seems to be 99% ignored.
1% being that some of the gimmick are now featured in Mario Maker 2 (but then they couldn't even have the game as a full theme like SMB, SMB3, New SMB, etc)

Maybe with Snifits appearing in the new Paper Mario game, they might start using them in other games again and make a Snifit figure then. :)

Super Mario Bros 2 is still my favorite Mario game. Unfortunately, some of those Mario 2 characters would only have worked as the larger $20 figures that they stopped making. At the very least, Wart, Clawgrip, and Tryclyd should have been bigger figures. Mouser, Fryguy, and Birdo could be the standard $10 sized figures. I think for the most part, Mario 2 has been swept under the rug as though it never happened.
