I am going with Zeta. I haven't got one yet, pre-ordered at Show Z. But, what I have seen in video reviews looks great, and what I have read on hear sounds mostly great. Mine will stay in combined mode 99% of the time, and from what I understand, that's where Zeta shines. Price and availability was also a big factor, Superitron is likely half the price or less, and I can have the whole set in a couple months, hopefully, not a couple years. My 2 cents.

Once they get changed to incoming, what's the usual wait time until they have it and ready to ship out.

It depends on when they actually arrive at showZ. He puts "incoming " up when he gets notice of shipment from manufacturer.

 

Okay, I was just curious. I had just read last night, a couple pages back, that it was being pushed back to maybe around March. Sooner the better.

There a few things holding me back on this:

• No black boxer shorts. There even looks like there's sculpting for it. I want black boxer shorts on my superion!
• Toon head but no toon chest plate.
• The only other combiner set I'm in on at the moment is XTB Menasor, which I think will be a few cm shorter than this? Backed myself into a corner there.

I'd consider the FT version seeing as it has cartoon accurate configurations but the individual bots are waaayyy too big for me, and it'll likely cost double the price of Superitron/Kronos all in.

So I think ultimately I'm asking, for a toon guy, is this satisfying enough to get or do I wait and see if something else comes along? (ie. If xtb made a toon superion that scaled with their Menasor somehow)

 

I have Kronos, and have simply ordered a set from @TigerBlade to complete the toon look. It's about the cost of a single limb bot, delivered, so still way less than you're looking at for FT.

As for XTB, I reckon there's no way they'll get into this set soon. The Menasor wars are bad enough, but if you're already well behind in terms of design and build then you're looking at a small market. I doubt it's worth it to them to tackle Superion for at least a couple of years, probably more. Much better business to look at Defensor, Computron and Abominus for example as you capture the market immediately. Hell, you'd even snare a few FT fans with a slavish toon look.

 

Hi Jason, it's imminent if they label it incoming, as in usually a few days tops. I've always got a shipped notice a week or so after incoming, though I've heard of exceptions. Not long in any case!

Xtb Menasor is supposed to be 49cm tall, so 1-2 cm shorter than this set. I don't think it's going to be noticeable.

 

Well, I just looked at ShowZ site and had a notice to pay my balance for Superitron. It's also showing in stock now. Faster then I expected. What are the chances of them having it before CNY.

Has anyone got the toyhax sticker set for kronos. I just saw them a bit ago and thought they looked cool. Does anyone have pics of thier Kronos with them applied. I would like to see how they look before I decide if I want them.
