I doubt that this product equals even .001% of Amazon's total revenue or volume of items.

 

This right here. Most of us (myself included) have no idea about the volume of sales Amazon actually generates, and the amount of returns they get. Hell, their owner is the richest MF on the planet.

While I wish this would somewhat sent a message to TT in regards of QC, it won't.

I think that might be missing the point. They aren't as successful as they are by ignoring returns rates just because one individual product is a very small fraction of overall sales. It all adds up. I'm sure they'll have data on all products and act on it. They did take down MP-44 afterall. I really hope TT do see the writing on the wall here and do something about it.

I got my Hound from AJ and have been sitting on it, didn't read this thread until today. It makes me want to return it lol, I had no idea there were all of these widespread issues.

 

I2619 on the figure. Officially the most oily Transformers figure in the history of the world!

I oiled every pin, both ends, as I transformed alongside Wotafa.

Not a single crack as I went through it. I thought a leg panel hinge had a straight one right through but it was a paint line! Paint is generally pretty perfect, with just a few flecks here and there. Nothing serious by any means.

Hinges were evidently tight but loosened right up with the shock oil. I dripped it in along a toothpick because the bottle wasn't best designed for this purpose. This means I got it all over my hands so we got a little lubed up together, me and ol' Hound...

I've done all the joints and pins, and I unscrewed the neck screw a half turn just in case. It took a small amount of torque to move it, so it was definitely screwed up tight. Didn't want to risk that particular crack.

I need to reorganise my shelves now, as it's a tight squeeze on the Ark, and Mirage and Jazz are still missing, so here's a quick snap with Bee

 

keep checking it every day mine wasn't cracked and one appeared today on the hinge at the back on the right leg panel and it's just been sitting in my display

Shit. I'm hoping my lube job helps me to not have a repeat performance. We have two of the closest linked pieces (same, smaller, retailer; UK based, same delivery times so likely same consignment; same factory codes too I think). If ours perform differently it's the best test so far I reckon as to how random this stuff is...
