If you look at slightly earlier model Kenworth K100's (A/C) you will see that vent is exactly where XTB has scuplted it. In those comparison pics Gravestone is being compared to a later 1985+ K100E given away by the rectangular headlights. So it's more than a nod to a real feature - it's accurately observed. Due to year G1 MM can't be a K100E, so XTB have both chosen the correct period model, and sculpted it pretty much spot on. Props to them - easily the best overall Stunticon set for alt mode realism, imho.

 

My feelings exactly. I was really hoping mine would arrive yesterday because ToyDojo deliveries always make it to me in two days. When it didn't I was all, "but that means more people will get theirs before me!" Maybe I need to rethink my priorities

Bot mode,when compared to the toon,the shapes and proportions are completely off..Short bow legged with long torso..I do like the truck mode a lot though

 

Can anyone provide a pic of Gravestone, and/or the other 3p motormasters next to the G1 toy. Just curious

 

Does anybody think the toy version of Gravestone will look better in terms of proportions since the toy itself is already wonky in the first place? Idk if that makes sense but yeah lol

 

Just a small observation. The faux truck grill on Gravestones feet are light grey:


While it's a dark purplish grey on the actual truck mode grill:


Yet the animation model has it black in bot mode and dark grey in alt mode:


Have XTB based the colours they've gone with on a particular episode? Seems random when everything else is coloured pretty much spot on, including the lighter grey/off-white arms (but minus the missing purple shin panel). Could just be artistic licence but just wondered if there were any episodes that match the Gravestone grill colours.
