Hot take: I never much liked the Universe Inferapple mould. Chest is too wide, the lack of head kibble is boring. I considered getting one at TFN but decided against it in the end. Glad I did as the ER Grapple is everything I always wanted... Orange helmet aside.

    Cheers for the info.

Think I'll bite on the planes, as I do like a transformer jet. Disappointed it is just a snap on limb in gestalt mode

Cars, I do like but I'll maybe see about them in the future

Beautiful Maz. Love all these pics

I love Cyclonus as a toy, so sleek and the colours work so well

I miss your ramblings @Neuta & @IronicHide (Rich) 's musings over the cartoon episodes

In other news, @tikgnat goodies arrived and am delighted, as always.

@scubaboy31 - your Hot Rod pic, just wow

I...appreciated the era of CHUG reimagining how an old figure might look if modernized. But, like you, I'm predictable geewunner scum that just wants his old toy but like nicer and more poseable.

In a recent disturbing trend with me and TFs....I have one of these....with no head.....

Thanks dude, I am modifier of necessity rather than will, and this was bought for a pound off a kid during a 'sale trail' in our town,
(I have one in a box I would hope to get out for displaying when I get some room in a few months time.
Me - "oh, he's missing his head"
    kid "is he"?
    well duh.

Oh there a question that could sail a billion ships and start twice that many rants, I have a PP01 Magnus that I think is in the heyday of '3p will be ropey' many moons ago, he is gorgeous but doors don't close and the inside of the cab is a hideous glue-fest, but meh, he be pretty.
Nowadays they tend to be good other than some specific bits, but I buy second hand so mostly they have been pre-tested before me.

My KO MP cars tend to feel and function as KOs, poor connections and all the floor clearance of a broken hoover, but you cant knock the value for a bit part player.

Argh, dunno how to put it, just looked like another single-cockpit futuristic jet with Enterprise nacelle-style engines hanging down I guess? If memory serves...

    All the best

Don't you just absolutely love a well-known G1 Transformers truck mode in unfamiliar colours? I miss reissue exclusives like this so much. The very best of the early Takara reissue era.

Damn....ordered some transformers from Amazon Japan on tuesday night. Only had global priority shipping available.

Already at my local DHL delivery depot.

The costs worked out a bit less than uk rrp including shipping and duties but not in stock over here anymore.

In all honesty, the mould is okay as Grappel and Inferno, but truly shines when converted to Pyro

I have a boxed Henkei Inferno too, but I’m going to try to get him sold this year if I can. (Nothing to do with Earthrise, been on my sell list for a while now)

Wow, it's now out for delivery before end of day. Within 2 working days from Japan from order but it was only collected from Amazon yesterday on the tracking so 24 hours by the clock....

    Edit, now delivered

Tried using a Ultra Violet pen to do a little graffiti on my display but unfortunately while it’s visible by eye under UV light you can’t really see it on camera.

Thanks man, to be honest I cranked that out super last minute as I didn't have anything to submit in landscape format. Really glad that you like it!

Siege Springer arrived and while I find his arm articulation lacking for what I really wanna do, a coupla Lionizer effect pieces on the swords have helped out greatly.

Another Blowpipe and Air Strike Patrol arrived too. The way it's going I'll have a full set of Battle masters on a shelf, as many 'in play' on Titans, and some arming figures on my shelves. Bloody effects pieces...

It's the same for some of the Micromasters too where I was able to get them cheap. That's the third ASP set; one for the bots around a Titan (I like the colours), the second as the Jets around a Titan (have to figure out how they'll be suspended), and the third is either gonna be sword mode or going to my nephew.

I'm also waiting on Hermes delivering toys. And you know how that goes...

ION, I see we're getting Earthrise in late Feb:

Well in general I prefer a creative reimagining of a character. There's very few G1 designs I feel any real attachment to, and take the attitude that there's always room for improvement. I'm not actually nostalgic by nature, and usually take the view that just because something was great 30 years ago doesn't mean it stands up today.

    However.

I have something of an infatuation with G1 Grapple. I don't know what it is. I absolutely love the design, head to toe, robot and crane. I never had the G1 toy, he was never a cartoon or comic megastar, I have no fond recollections of him from childhood. I've never owned a Grapple or a Grapple-a-like. But I'm looking forward to ER Grap more than anything else in the line. I adore the design, I adore the orangeness (save for the helmet) and I love that this looks more or less like a scaled down MP with extra detailing. It's perfect, and I want it wedged in my mouth now.

No arguments here, that is one sexy beast of a Pyro. There was one of the Botcon Pyros at the Toyfu table at TFN I think. This year my goal is to try and snaffle something like it, and buy fewer, but rarer, things.

I'm dying to get that Grapple figure too. I know where my obsession comes from in the main - a Transformers catalogue that had damn near all the G1 stuff in it. I used to stare at it endlessly not even knowing there wasn't a hope of getting the figures any more lol

So Grapple looks like a must. So did Springer, with his back blades and lemon and lime colouring. The Protectobots, everyone who makes up Bruticus, and so on.

Nice! I wasnt temped by the chrome / wolf updates, but am 200% percent down for the brainstorm and mindwipe ones (and likely ape / dragon). This guy I can’t make my mind up about!

Edit - now I want a headmaster name generator. Brainface? Hardwipe?

I'll believe THAT when I see it. Not ragging on ID or Hasbro UK, it's what Hasbro Central decides wot makes these arrivals *Orson Welles V/O* HIGHLY DUBIOUS!

@Ottertron If you're exclaiming about Spinister's mitts I'll be doing something about that as soon as I can get mine on him!
Unfortunately Roy Mail, the ol' mucker, has been a bit unusually quick off the mark, and I've missed today's delivery attempt (that I expected tomorrow under normal circumstances).
Hey ho, at least I should have 'em for the weekend as I was hoping (fings crossed I'm not speaking too soon)!
