Found the guy who doesn't remember the old 90s ads where they fast-motioned the transformation.

Also, fast-motion lets them disguise.any fiddling, missteps, or cuts.

which I like. In an era where we know everything before it’s released and it’s rare to go in a store and see something and say “woah!” One thing choose to do if I watch a review is skip the transformation. I wanna be surprised when I get a toy.

So, Starscream looks to be a small scale MP transformation?

Based on what Warden said during the reveal, it's more an upscaled Classics transformation.

I like the Vangelus did transformations in his reviews - highlights and short clips. You still get to experience it yourself the like it's new when you get it.

Yeah, I suppose they were trying to homage those old stop-motion commercials? Any how, can't wait to have these in hand!

Starscream is not surprising but still satisfying to watch.

Remember when Hasbro did videos like these for the Dark of the Moon toy line? Good memories

The hands are molded in gray, but they'll be painted in blue, along with the eyes.
They clearly had intended differently but changed it last minute due to negative fan reaction at NYCC.
I think these prototypes are probably from old test shot stock that got handed out for promo before the change.

Guess Hasbro realized, why let people buying leaked factory samples have all the ad revenue, when they can review their upcoming toys themselves?
I hope this means no more struggling and mistransformations.

OG Gen Cosmos was good for the time it came out but I really hope we get a WFC style G1 faithful Deluxe Cosmos in the vein of WFC Cliffjumper. 486px-G1CosmosColorModel.jpg the T30/TR Cosmos was based on IDW, we have not had a G1 style Cosmos since OG G1 Transformers-Robots-In-Disguise-Cover-SUB_1395159146.jpg

No, T30 Cosmos came first, then IDW used that design, briefly. The T30 design is a more articulated version of the 2009 Universes design. Which was also a toy before it briefly appeared in the comics. The regular IDW design has never had a figure.

Why is it, when someone makes a cool, Chinese YouTube video of new releases, all we get are screenshots, and no links to the YouTube video at the front page, but an article like this only shows the video links and no screenshots?

    It's a bit strange.

Far as I can tell, it's a holdover from the days when we didn't get videos of figures until after mass release, and they didn't want people asking to have their video reviews front paged. Now that we get first looks at leaked toys via YouTube, that could stand updating but TFW remains firmly stuck in 2005.

If they make a set of earthrise Starscream mold with chrome like the United Seekers: Aces Set, I might think about getting them and replacing my Seekers: Aces Set. Until then I prefer the smaller scale because of the superior paint job. And I would like Shockwave without the extra parts and in a lighter purple like the Masterpiece.

Why should this site promote reviews featuring stolen toys? And make no mistake they are stolen. Unless earthrise has been officially released somewhere in the world that I dont know about?
