I'd like to know what makes Iceman and Goose limited editions? And why just the limbs?

 

The preorders show Iceman on a flight stand. Any chance that will be included?

 

Maybe Maverick is more plentiful. More likely, they see how fast the other fans toys bots have been selling out, they see this as a way to sell more. Get while you can, It's a limited edition.

I highly doubt it. It's just for demonstration purposes in the promotional pictures. No different than when FT uses rubble/pavement dioramas in other figures' promo pics.
Besides it would make sense for only one member to have a flight stand while the others don't.

The only FT aircraft/flying characters to include a flight/adapter stand are Soar, Phoenix, and Sovereign. It is a shame FT didn't design flight stands for Quietus and the Ethereaon members.

No doubt. I locked in my Iceman preorder on Taobao back in May of last year (wow, time flies). No worries there.

 

I wonder if the Combiner parts will turn into a set of flight stands, or else, a single flight stand.

 

You know right after reading the inquiry about the stand this is exactly where my mind went. Not necessarily having the combiner parts make a stand but just having a stand for all five in formation. That would be a brilliant move though.

 

That's a cool idea. I like it. As far as the limited edition stuff goes, I was wondering if the retailers could be doing that as a way to get more pre-orders, then go to Fans toys and say, look how many pre-orders we got, how about ramping up production. Probably not, but just a thought.

3rd bot of the set already on pre-order wow. If we're lucky we could have 2 sets of combiner from FT by the end of the yr.

We may very well. There are four left combined and the combiner parts, but they also have Brawn and Warpath due out, so that would be six figures this year, unless I'm missing someone else that is at least on preorder.

 

Thomas and Dunerider are likely to drop in 2020 and Chomp may not be far behind. After that, Berserk.

 

They did form a "base" but saying it transformed isn't really right. It only used existing joints from the body like hips and knees and a few peg holes besides one extra hinge to fold the chest shield down on top.

The only differences I can see is the main wings fold up between the body and backpack instead of being on the outside and his head appears to be exposed in jet mode because it doesn't have the large intake the F-16 has, but that also allows the backpack to not have to account for that intake.

You have the preorders right, Warpath, Brawn, Air Raid, and Wildrider are all of them for now. If they can get them all out by May as scheduled that would leave 6 or 7 more slots for the year (assuming they maintain at 1 a month). Beachcomber and Astrotrain will take 2 of them. Dragstrip and Seaspray have been shown the next farthest along and seem likely. I would think a 3rd Aerialbot would be paired up with Dragstrip but we haven't seen anything of the armbots yet really.

 

We'll find out sooner or later

 

My Taobao order for Goose is scheduled to be delivered this Saturday. I'm looking forward to it.

Ever since Quietus T came out they’ve been labelling stuff as Limited. Could just be a case of copy & paste?

 

His main wings appear to sit between him and the backpack, but arms and legs etc will be the same.

 

Pre-ordered Iceman at TCP. Based on the displayed release dates there, I usually add two months so June/July for Magnum and Iceman. Speculation. I could be wrong. Just guessing. I may order Hunk and Sheridan, too. I like my BC Brawny, though.

In any case, I cant help but feel like we may only get two Aerialbots in 2020 and the final bot + gestalt pieces will be early 2021. I hope I'm wrong at we have a completed Marauder and Ethereaon by late Q4 2020.

There's only two left for either after these two in May and June(according to BBTS), so June/July sound about right. I'm hoping the next two will be September/October and the last two by christmas would be amazing. Here's hoping!
