Thank you! I pass by it every day but I felt inspired today.
Thank you! And yes his wheel comes off and reattaches on his arm but it’s a worthy sacrifice IMO, and I generally hate partsforming unless it’s a weapon.
Thanks buddy :p  friendly neighborhood Mohawk!

I must point out to complete the accessories you need
Ss05 RotF Prime ... for the blades
Ss16 DotM Ratchet.... for the gun

as for Ss32 i would personally get both Ss44 DotM Prime and Ss32 2k7 ...
as although the widows are better on Ss32,there is orangey paint on the hood on Ss44 and you can swap the ab piece between Ss32 and Ss44 and there is improved hinges on Ss44 Prime and you have a trailer.

Finally got my Shockwave from Amazon. I should have gotten him yesterday with Scavenger buy there was a delay from UPS. After last week's delay, I'm happy the delay was only waiting an extra week. 20200108_183914-01.jpeg

Question for those of you who have Studio Series Soundwave.

Would it be possible to modify him where you cut along the red lines in this picture...

    20200108_224652.jpg

... and then attach those intake pieces to an armature (like a double hinge) that could swing out and over to give Soundwave an accurate chest?

Whoa...which color Sharpies? I learned the hard way that the black one turns purple on plastic over time.

This would be extremely difficult to pull off because on the underside of those pieces are these triangular pieces, because as part of the transformation you rotate the headlights 180 degrees, and then the spikes sit on top of the chest as they do in the CGI render.

The Bee touch ups have begun...

I have SS-01 Bee if you just want the head. You can PM me if ya want it!

Oh....does it? Well then I guess I’m gonna need a new Ratchet, because I pretty much colored all the silver on his legs and feet with black sharpie. And the three rail things on his forearms. This was months ago though, and it looks the exact same. That blows if that’s inevitable for mine. I didn’t know about Gundam paint markers at the time, otherwise I would’ve used those since they’re supposedly real paint (or closer than sharpie). Might need to be on the lookout for another copy then. But this is why I was asking to see if anyone recommended a particular flat clear coat sealant. I thought clear coat prevents things like that.

Also, anyone interested in letting go of an SS-44 Prime without the trailer and accessories? I’m interested in just the figure. PM me if you wanna work something out. Thanks

    With a miniature Mojito

Yeah, well, that's like, your opinion, man.

We got Walter, Donnie and Jesus in TLK, we only needed a Jeff Bridges bot.

It’s beautiful, much better than the stock head and gets rid of the old concept are bits. Adds symbols to the side of the head and gets ride of the extra parts. It’s extends the chin and adds some detail to the face too. The light up eyes are awesome but there is a bit of a chasm behind the forehead crest that the light shines through. Some loose bits too, but I am trying to solve that with Future.

I got the one matched to the Honey Badger KO but I wouldn’t mind getting one for the regular one too.

Yea black sharpie ink will turn purple.

Gundam Markers are like liquid chalk, they IIRC, may actually be alcohol based, I forgot. I've used them before, I'd avoid them on clear parts(broke a Transformer with Gundam Marker that way before). It'll be best to bleed Gundam marker ink into a small cup and dip a paint brush in it to paint, instead of using the marker straight on the figure. The nib can scratch off previous coats and the finish isn't always consistent.

An acrylic clear coat would be your best bet, so long as it won't chemically react with the ABS. I use a brush on matte or gloss coat from Testor's Model Master. Some use Future.

fun Fact DOTM Master Disaster is a great stand in for a movieverse version Arcee's Hologram driver, he's even close to proper scale if you take the height of the sisters as 7 feet tall like the size according to an interview with Hasbro DSCN5064.JPG DSCN5065.JPG DSCN5067.JPG DSCN5068.JPG DSCN5069.JPG

Amazing pictures! I wish I could do ones that are as good as that.

But yeah it looks so accurate, it's crazy. This on the MPM-08 is the definitive 07 Megatron for me! Also, how is the neck connection on yours? That is currently my main gripe in that the piece that attaches to the underside of the head won't really stay put too well and the part that attaches to the torso has a very light hold as well.

The attachment piece is pretty loose on mine as well, so I just unplugged the same piece on the original head and use that instead.

I’m pretty biased to this brand and variant of clear coat/topcoat , they come in gloss , semi-gloss and matte/flat . The best part of it is the UV cut , though it’s a tad more pricey compared to other Variants . 6BDBF33A-A634-49A3-9613-3CF05AFE9FCF.jpeg and as @Shin Densetsu said about gundam markers , best to always bleed them out into a palette or paint holder of sorts rather than use the applicator it came with .
