Ahh. Ok. I'll edit my post. Hopefully the fingers don't easily fall into flimsy looking positions like the fully articulated hands of some of XTB/KFC's big bots in the past.

 

Looks like they're all pinned with the exception of a ball joint at the base of the thumb. So should be nice and solid.

XTB's improved their fingers since the days of KFC's replacement hands for Takara MPs. No guarantees though, it's still XTB after all.  

 

Just got mine in bot mode, they are definitely better than the KFC blaster I have. The tabs for the weapons are narrow and not very long, and I wasn't sure they would tab into and stay in his hands. I had to apply a good bit of pressure to the hands and they finally settled into the slot on his hand, and now they feel locked in real tight with no worries about them falling out.

Besides that, he's a really solid figure. There were many tight tabs and panels during transformation,but nothing felt like it might break easily.

I disagree. I think Gravestone has the best face sculpt. Overall I am extremely pleased.

 

Yeah, RK might take it overall but I think I like the GS face best, and the ability to tilt the face down inside the headbox is way better

FT Roadking still takes the crown.

 

Roadking can also move his head up and down inside the box.

 

Not sure why it needs to be a competition. They’re both good and they both provide a different take. I plan on having them both.

I am going to have all 3 as well. Well in my case it will be the toy version.

 

I’m not a diehard Motormaster guy so I only need the two. RK’s transformation is so epic I just need to have it. Truly impressive.

 

Really? I’m waiting for my reissue to get delivered but every review points out he can look up a bit but no down tilt. Is it the head inside the box? Or can you pull the box up to tilt down like DX9 Gabriel?

Yeah I’ve got RK and GS coming this month and might get Capone at some point, they’re all pretty good.

 

That pic of all three just posted makes me love the overall proportions and look of Graveatone way more than the others, and a huge part is actually how tough and brutish Gravestone looks but without the huge boot legs of the others. It is not a huge deal towards being a detriment to the other figures in my eyes, but side by side, Gravestone looks more agile while still having wide tough guy shoulders, a super mean, stern, blocky face, and obviously still has the big lower legs which makes him look like a stomper.
All subjective of course but I feel GS brings a lot of attitude to his overall look that, despite FTs more overall polished and metal fleck look, GS looks more alive and less like a toy to me. Part of looking more agile than the rest.
They are all still pretty sick though. If only one of them existed, I'd be happy if it were any of them.
