Why is it relevant to bring up the unrelated subject of knockoffs when Nezha: Transformers is official product?
Check Taobao perhaps? A TF buddy of mine just got back (to Taiwan) from a few months working in China, and bought one while there. He wasn’t impressed with the quality as there was some whitening already on the outside of the arm/door where the tab is. But in-hand the plastic feels higher quality than I thought it was going to be. Better feeling than Cyberverse, the hinges feel nice, and I appreciate the cover pieces for the backs of the legs. He paid RMB¥180 for his.
Thanks . Ok I'll try I think there was a link for it here but I thought it worked but then when I went to pay a few hours later there was no way or offer to pay money anymore. But is that yours in the picture? Or is it your friends? I think it looks quality plastic for todays standards. Like Voyager WFC quality & maybe 1/2" shorter then average Voyager. (Its probably at a convention & some convention rep lol).
The pics above I did take at an anime/gaming convention, and it is the one my buddy bought in China. He is the organizer for the Transformers section. They had the TF card game set up and were playing it and introducing it to people, as well as having toys on display (mostly different Optimus’), and 3 monitors running TF content: one, a walk around Tokyo toy show, one running old advertisements, and the other showing the 80s design procedure for the toys. On the other side of the convention there were tables set up and about six sellers had TFs. As for 哪吒 Nézhā [for people using English and unfamiliar with the phonetics used to ‘spell’ Chinese, the pronunciation is more like: nuh-jaa](commonly pronounced: Nuózhā [new-o jaa] in Taiwan) — I’d get this figure, and the other upcoming characters, if it winds up not being too much hassle to get, and if it’s a bit cheaper than what my friend got it for (about RMB¥180).
So if I understand the transformation correctly, can the little human stay tucked in the chest during car mode or do parts of the robot go there? Also, that totally looks like a trial run for Brainmasters.
Many thanks to @SirToys for tracking down a copy for me! From an articulation and size point of view, this guy is certainly on par for any collector-oriented CHUG/PrimeTril/Siege line. Ankle tilts, A-stance, thigh swivel, elbow swivel, ball-joint shoulder in addition to all the basics. No waist, obviously, given the chest panel. The overall aesthetic, color palate and just slightly lacking paint apps feel more like a Cyberverse toy. The mini-figure is actually pretty impressive. Good sculpt, good paint, ball-joint head and individually articulated limbs. Very pleased to add such an unusual release to my collection. I really hope that we get deluxes of the other characters that we’ve only seen Legends of so far.
Okay, seeing them side by side I'm almost certain the Nezha toys are simultaneously a test run for future Brainmaster figures. It's no coincedence that human figure is the same size as a -Master figure.
Wow hes actually pretty amazing looking. Especially next to all the other building block figure options
