The price surprised me, too. Don't know what to say...

    Ebay:
i'm not buying from BBTS that's what i'll say.

a few trustworthy guys on ebay sell them loose so that'll knock some cash down at least. i love BBTS but they jack up prices on some items. i feel this is one of them. we'll just wait and see.

As a baseline, preorder price on Taobao is ~US$56 with regular price at ~US$66 -- this is before shipping and any discounts offered, whether it be by the store or other promotions.

BBTS overprices stuff enough that I really only buy from them if items are on sale. I got my Big Powered GV Destroyer from HLJ shipped express for $30 less than BBTS' stock price.

I think that Mammoth is a bit rich price wise - it may be a lot cheaper elsewhere though. I can't see why it need to cost a lot more than a full robot does really. I would like to get it though even if it's not a chunk of a combiner.

The Diaclone upgrade I want the most is the vehicle drills.
But a packet of small 3D printed pieces to link original style containers together by the side connections would be useful too.

Yep, that's a bit much for me as well. Hopefully it will be cheaper from China via eBay (like other have said).

The listing is also the first time I've noticed that it's from "Vecma" (as is the upcoming Hardhead). A Google search shows that MFT's Headmasters are also from Vecma. Is this an another toy line (like "Lost Planet", "Mech Soul" etc.) or an offshoot company?

They spread themselves around - isn't Tracks also not branded as MFT either ?

That seems like quite the overestimate on the price for the Mammoth from BBTS. That's actually more expensive than the official Big Powered trailer.

Unfortunately the articulation is limited on the joes. The surfer is from one of the toybiz attack playsets

do the original tread/vtol upgrades work on the newer powered suit designs? also, whats the general opinion on the little yellow multi armed half track vehicle? ive been out of the diaclone game for ages, but the different suits and possible ko big powered are luring me back in

They should work just fine. The newer option sets are based off the old ones, after all. And from what I recall hearing that yellow multi-armed vehicle/robot isn't bad or anything.

Not particularly worried. The KOs are basically what funds them doing more self-made stuff.

I'm not trying to be pious here but I don't collect KO stuff, so it doesn't worry me per se. I am hoping to see more original stuff from them, though. I really dig the Huge Dragon design, and hope that paves the way for more. I also like that they are doing things that take an existing design and turn it into something else. Like the mini Omega Supreme which is essentially a modified Diaclone powered suit.

The original MFT designs feel outdated compared to the official line from inception. The newest lunar components should have incorporated adaptability beyond the official released products (tri/dia). We got teasers of this from TT during the same time the latest MFT products were in development.
It was nice picking up the basic mechs and waruders but I'm sure there is more MFT can offer and at a decent price point if they stick with original designs and focus on compatibility.
