Just gone back and checked the stats, Toyworld Constructor lost out to Maketoys Pandinus in its category that year, (2016) but that was enough to take it to the final voting stage, where it scored just 5% of the final vote.

So it was on the ballot, it hasn't been omitted, a majority of the fandom went a different way in 2016. If people think its invalid, I can't argue against solipsism.

    opting for Dx9 Speedo (blur)

the thing is outdated and yet has as good articulation as current legends releases (from IF - NA) and a lvl of sculpt detail also to par with todays standards. Moreover, Speedo is made of 'gummy plastic' and unlike many 3p or even MP toys it is
so sturdy u can not only play with it with the carelessness of a child, but u can also chuck it on the wall (relatively hard) and it still wont break. The same goes for most dx9 war in pocket series, however, they all suffer of some minor flaw may it be posability (cyclonus) wierd placed cannons and face sculpts (galvatron) etc etc. Also, it has legs and arm pegs of the same size of most legends generations figures and u can part swap easily.

I voted FT Phoenix. Perfectly captures the character from G1 cartoon, very well built, easy to transform, great shelf presence...i think it's probably FT's best release.

I can't believe so many of us voted for Quietus in 2018...must have been a slow year :lolol

Overall both the number of releases, diversity of nominations, and voter participation was way down in 2018. It really was a slow year.

Whereas in 2017, Fans Toys alone had Terminus Giganticus, Phoenix, Sovereign and Grinder. Some of these were seriously undervoted, I think if any of these had come out in 2018 they would have slamdunked it.

Feral Sex all the way! Damn that set has held up well! I recently gave all my non MPs to my youngest. I broke him down to his components and put up the combiner parts and weapons. I've had a ton of fun playing around with the individual bots. Divebomb and Rampage are especially fantastic, but all of them still solid!

It's sad to see Fansproject kinda... forgotten. Their stuffs were the rage back then by the fandom.

Gotta be FT Quakewave. That was a real game-changer, the first fully original figure of MP scale and quality. It set the standard for some time, with proper heft, premium feel and 'fun' transformation - a true Masterpiece.

    This.

Up to this point, 3rd party was add on kits and the occasional CHUG full figure. Quakewave was THE game changer for the decade. Then it sold out and was a game changer again when aftermarket prices and demand soared way past 1st party releases and most other 3rd party jumped on to the MP bandwagon to try to ride the coattails of that success. This is THE release that changed everything.

What will i vote for? Well, i feel the title should have been "Most Influential 3rd Party Toy of the Decade" or "Your favorite 3rd party from a Decade of Winners". Both have very different answer/meaning to me.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My Favorite 3rd Party TF of the Decade, that i must keep
Out of this list, i only still own MMC Feralcons, TE-01, FT Stomp X, and FT Quietus T. Out of this, i pick FT Stomp X, because if i had to keep one, it would be the whole FT Dibot X set.... Which is my toy of the decade, well, it is FT Dibot X set (Scoria, Stomp, Sever, Red Soar, and Grinder). This is not an option in the votes. That said, heh, if a Grinder 2.0 X comes up, i will swap, as he is my least favorite in bot mode.

My Most Influential 3rd Party TF of the Decade

Out of this list, i would say the 2 most important TF ever made for me are: FT Quakewave (the REAL toy that got me into 3rd party and the one that kept me wanting more), and MMC Feralcons (the fist set/combiner i have ever owned, and put love into reformatted line and got me into CHUG Scale). Which would win, hard to say, but Quakewave is still the one that started it all, and made others join the party, so i have chosen that one. At the same time, it seem out of the chug i still own, seems i like the MMC Feralcons (6 members) the most, along with PE Blackaracknea, and eventhough they are seriously outdated now, they look very good with the upgrade faces, enough to keep them, and dedicate a whole row shelf on a Billy case. Because they are a group, it is harder to part ways, than was Quakewave. Also, maybe, cause no one would buy it anymore, lol. I'd probably still vote Quakewave though.

The Best Made/engineered/painted 3rd party TF of the Decade that i own, and recommend to ALL

Which do i feel is the best engineered and articulated and fantastic toy to own today and absolutely must haves? Well, that is Roadking, followed by Spoiler. They are the latest and greatest, and you should go buy now if you dont have them already.

    -----------------------------------

Thus, i cannot vote, as i dont know which of the meaning it has, or my selections are not there for it.

People take their random poll threads super cereal. Someone should make a trophy and mail it to the winner.

Quakewave, fwiw. Never bought him, but he was a huge deal. Is to 3rd Party what MP01 was to brand transformers.

Stomp is my dude! No hate for the other choices. I have some MMC Predacons hanging out at my work desk, as I typed this.

The reason it is "best" not most influential or your favourite is purely because the poll is intended to be a fun throwaway a non-objective utterly subjective vote based on the ten toys that "won" the throwaway and mostly meaningless fan vote each year of the decade.
Based purely on those self imposed rules this is the best we've got. Most influential would be very hard to determine and favourite would need about 300 voting option.

If someone wants to do an open vote and take nominations from the entire ten years of the decade or twelve years of mainstream 3P collecting, feel free.

We had the data from the last 8 years of fan votes so I put this together. For fun.

I would be really curious what sort of designs they could come up with if they made stuff for today’s market. Like what would an MP from them be like?

Reading through your post in its entirety, seems pretty obvious to me you should vote for Quakewave or Feral Rex. If you no longer own Quakewave then that should make it even easier.
