Anybody else having a problem with studio series soundwave’s neck ball joint? Mine seems to be super tight and I can’t move it at all.

Edit - turns out when they glued his face on, the glue seeped into the ballpoint freezing it in place

well, you got the face off, so take a toothpick or small blade soaked in warm water n do your best to cut the glue away. be really gentle, so the toothpick doesn't break or the knife doesn't slip.

 

I’ll go get an exchange if I were you . Damn

 

Use a blow dryer or heat gun to heat the glue up and make it gummy, then you should be able to loosen it up.

I sent an email to Hasbro Pulse, last time I had an issue like this they just shipped me a replacement extremely fast.

It seems that the QC on Studio Series is really lacking. I’ve had more breaks and flaws in this line than any other line I’ve collected.

 

So far, Shockwave is in stock at Amazon.ca. I could get that and wait for Scavenger to show up somewhere or I should just wait until I can get both at the same time at online retail or in store.

 

Studio Series needs a subline called "Concept Series" for all these unused Concept Art designs. Imagine Leader Class Depthcharge, Voyager Breakaway to brawl with Starscream, Blitzwing, and Nitro, and a Deluxe of that Model T. I'd buy at least a dozen!

 

I have to say, movieverse toys are my personal favorite. I respect all Transformers, but something about them really are the best.

Also i found some renders of the bike sisters on wikipedia dunno if they were the final ones because Elita-1's wheel spike is flipped to the other side.
It's amazing what the small figures were able to do to recreate these models

You do need an Optimus - SS38 for that Bee movie look, or if you wan OG Trilogy SS44 (DOTM) is the best overall package.

So... After some thoughts i decided to keep all my SS Boxes in Order on my old shelf.

I will be dusting of my craftsmanship skills and make several nice free floating wood shelves to display my SS Figures without the boxes and organize those by movie.



Ill be adding SS44 shortly and a few others to catch up before wave 9 hits.

 

It depends how fast and loose you want to play with scale. Ideally they would be the size of the paratrooper with shockwave, but this works for me. Wouldn't want them any bigger though. But yeah, if you want them proper screen scale, they're too big.



Frenzy looks taller but he's on a little stand. And the modern camaro is the original deluxe, i don't have ss49 yet. All other Autobots are ss. You could always try to track down the non posable versions that came in those screen battle packs. I don't know how well they would scale, but they're smaller than HA. Would have sam, mikaela and frenzy, downside is they'd be stuck in their action poses.

 

Like @Gallade said, it is a toughy to answer.. it is based on preferences.
2007 Megatron and that Leader Brawl win in the size department (they scale spot on for Studio Series) but the new molds are more accurate and easyer to find. I custom(ized/ painted) both 2007 Megs and Brawl and for my collection they are the definitive versions.
if scale and customizing aren't your thing I believe the new versions blow the socks off both of them.

does anyone have them ans is willing to measure the ladies in both modes? I want to know their scale..
