Not a repack but a UPC swap with part of different cardboard packaging. This was found at a Target right before Xmas. It scanned as a Seige leader. I showed an employee and they took the figure. Haven’t seen it on the shelf since. Years ago, I seen a Target exclusive at TRU with a taped over UPC. All these hardpoors doing these swaps are sad and shouldn’t be collecting.

the reason someone swapped the upc on rodimus unicronus is simple. it was so they could return an old figure and get credit with a current receipt, for leader class siege figure. theyre simply returning something that has gone past the timeframe stated in the return policy. using a current upc to get credit for something that is over a year old.

lol i looked up the pn00023157 and the e2059 the ups is off of Transformers Generations Power of the Primes Leader Nemesis Prime that was an amazon exclusive i cant see how that would of worked for returning it

actuly it looks like they went through
alot of work its 2 diffrent parts its a scan of the upc of WFC-S40 Galaxy Upgrade Optimus Prime glued it to a Power of the Primes Leader Nemesis Prime box part and put that on there if you look at the photo that you posted with the barcode by the number 6 it sits a little off and look at my photo with the info i have i keep all my boxes the WFC-S40 Galaxy Upgrade Optimus Prime box is black and the Nemesis Prime box is dark purple

croped your photo down you can tell that was printed and glued on there i think they may have done it this way do to the carbord being diffrent . why they cut the rodimus box and put the Nemesis Prime on there i dont know. then they proceded to glue the other paper copy of the Galaxy Upgrade Optimus Prime on there after that i couldnt tell you why they did that it would of been simpler to just put the scaned upc on the unaltered box . im a bit ocd so i kinda pick up on this stuff

 

That's a lot of fucking work. Why not just do what other assholes do and put the Rodimus (with tray and everything) inside the new toy's box? Wtf man

 

I guess they kinda cared, and didn't want the parent to buy an "Optimus" for their kid that had a Rodimus inside. It's also possible they didn't plan to buy Optimus and just wanted to get some cash from their Rodimus.
