Even though it'd be one beast of a Pandora's box, I would be interested to see, for those that are less inclined to buy unmpteen takes on old characters, what new takes people would accept if it led to interesting repaint/retool. Like, I have no desire for another Overlord, but if he was some sort of pretool for Starsaber I'd welcome it. Likewise Grimlock ot Deathsaurus (please no-one tell me those are unlikely candidates to be retooled form each other. That patently isn't the point).

 

Amazon UK had the eu/uk siege ironhide + ultra magnus wave stock in for ages. Months and months at £14-17 on Ironhide. Amazon UK has had most of the waves to be fair and at less than rrp, jetfire was £50-£56 for 2 weeks before Christmas. Siege Sixgun has been shelfwarming smyths too. Forbidden Planet, Kapow and In Demand had loads of siege stock too.

Sixgun has only been shelfwarming since its repackaging in wave 4.

Ive got most of them the only one I wanted but never got was Chromia.

 

Mildly crazy thought, Doubledealer will be repainted/tooled into groundshaker.
Really crazy thought, that only leaves skyhopper from the ten pack as the remaining base bot without a base so maybe that new Megatron is a big chunky helicopter...

I would buy a Diaclone Mirage, but now I've taken a liking to the mold I don't want Hasbro to release an Earthrise Mirage for that to happen when they could instead release the siege version in the Diaclone deco AND retool it into G2 Leadfoot.

My canned Haggis with caramelized onion, pickles and two slices of Irish potato bread was great by the way.

 

Setting aside Windblade who I have somewhat of a blindspot for with things like this for me it would depend on if the new figure were drastically different and/or had some gimmick that really appealed. Like I got Galaxy Upgrade Prime despite having the Voyager Optimus because he looked really badass and I enjoyed UM's armour up gimmick. Likewise if they do a really cool Leader Armoured Megatron in ER or Part 3 I'll be all over that.
I can't really think of anyone specifically Siege I'm massively bothered about. Grimlock is probably the only Dinobot I might consider getting a new one of as I'm happy with the PotP versions but I do think Grimlock suffers a little more than the others due to the combiner requirements for example. Then again I am a lot pickier than a lot of others here as I don't collect for the sake of completing a line or whatever, I get toys that appeal to me in some way be it an attachment to the character or the figure itself appealing to me. I guess I wouldn't consider myself a 'collector' really as I enjoy playing with and posing my figures over purely displaying them which is what collector implies to me, no offense to anyone who DOES consider themselves a collector intended  

Edit: That said, a Blitzwing in Siege style with similar greebling and such would be neat. I really felt like we'd get him in Siege as he would have suited the theme well!

 

A Siege-styled Blitzwing would IMHO hopefully come with a tank barrel that has a 3mm post, rather than a 5mm hole. I want to mount that football Botbot on it to mimic the scene of him firing one in that one G1 episode. =3

After seeing the review for Cliffjumper, I am hopefully that the minibots will be well served in the Deluxe Class, CJ is absolutely amazing and looks to scale perfectly within WFC.

The minibot line up is almost complete, T30, TR and POTP gave us a bunch of near perfect minibots such as Brawn, Wheelie, Seaspray, Windcharger, Beachcomber etc however there are some that could still use a good G1 homage modern update such as Warpath
And Cosmos.

I'd be very interested to see a WFC style Cosmos faithful to the G1 design, I would love if he could house a Titan Master in his alt mode as an Easter Egg similar to Jetfire etc.

 

I still use BBTS for sales deals or anything that's laughably overpriced at ID or whoever, mostly cos I wind up doing a big order anyway. The amount of items you simply can't get in the UK at sensible cost for whatever reason is maddening. With BBTS I know it's sitting in my PoL and can do for months.

Hell, even Amazon US works out cheaper with charges sometimes. So many of the UK stores charge postage now. Even worse, sometimes it's on a scale!

 

While I would love an updated Warpath & Cosmos (especially Cosmos!), I hope they finish off the minibots that really need updates, namely Huffer, Pipes, & Hubcap. Hubcap is extremely possible with CJ out, & Huffer/Pipes deserve an update probably more than any bot out there; those CW molds shouldn't count.

Would you happen to know or be able to give a hint as to the size of the new Commander? Will it be bigger than Jetfire? As in Larger, not taller but just bigger

 

As I've said before, more Micromasters are all I truly desire in the world.

If you mean the paint, I've gotten very lucky in that regard. I just don't think either the CW molds nor the Siege molds were good enough to justify replacing something I already have. Next mold may change my mind, but as stated Diaclone is the main driver to my collection. I'm half tempted to go back to RTS Perceptor solely based on this.

 

I do hope we get a new Warpath in WFC, but the Cosmos we have is great. Don't need another.

 

T30/TR Cosmos ain't horrible but it definitely isn't G1 style which is what I love about WFC
