I'm leaning towards unimaginable. I need to look at some screenshots to jog my memory.

Notorious seems to be the closest. If you could desaturate it a bit it would be perfect.



I came in here to post this shot before going to sleep. I love how this group looks together!

 

From the screen shots and episodes I’ve gone over, the Decepticon base colors were all over the place. Sometimes an off purple, like lavender or lilac to a blue-ish grey steel look with streaks of purple in it.

I’ve painted the diorama with Notorious. The samples I showed were still wet, but testing a few Cons in front of a dry panels looks like I went with the right color. I’ll have to draw the cartoon lines in and then pictures.

are there any good, inexpensive chain bases or not cardboard back drops that can be used with mp figures? ive got mine set up on one of those walmart cube organizer shelves and would love to add a bit of color

 

Doppelgänging. It’s a lost art.

 

I thought about different colors to accent various walled angle since the cartoon had the floors and ceilings a darker color most of the time. But my main motivation for picking Notorious was for a cartoony purple and the animation lines are visible. I put Starscream next to a wall and I’m pleased with the results.

First coat of paint applied. Really loving this shade of purple. Second coat, cartoon lines and energy prison bars next. Thinking about adding some type of lighting effects as well for when the ceiling is put on.

 

Takara MP-46 Blackwidow (Blackarachnia) Finally had a chance to crack her open so to speak

 

So after having my whole. Man MP is so expensive and everything looks so good besides MP 45 post a few days ago. My weird ass found a cool toy shop in San Jose while on a work trip and bought a MP 45.
He is okay. I don’t know how I truly feel about him right now. I don’t hate it. But I’m not sure if he is more superior over V1 Bee. Got to get home and do a comparison.

 

He either grows on you or you hate him. At least that's how it seems to go with him.

 

He is growing on me. I find myself transforming him back and forth in my hotel room.

 

Ball joints on the wrists/hands for my Ultra/Delta Magni haven't gotten loose(which is a good thing!). Any of you have copies of the MP Magni with loose wrist/hand ball joints?

 

Just got this tonight. He was covered in a thick layer of dust, which I just spent about an hour cleaning off (preliminary cleaning...just couldn't leave him like that overnight) after my son and then wife went to bed.
He is pretty darn awesome.
