Calling it now, Airwave is the Micromaster Decepticon Airport Base turned into a full partsforming robot character.

Just like how Deluxe Ironworks is the Micromaster Autobot Constructicon Station Base.

Hmm, either way I'll need a bunch - I think I have 3 deluxe ones (iGear) and 10 or 14 legend class ones, plus I'll end up w/a few of those Cyberverse baby sharks, I think.

I preferred the iGear ones, but those are probably as hard to find if not harder. I bet Hasbro takes care of you, though, in the next two years

Ive always wondered why this character was overlooked!

In 86 I was loved the look of it.

 

It was downright criminal that we didn't get one to go with Gnaw way back when...

 

God I hope so.

I can understand having Optimus, Megatron, and Starscream toys in every line... But doing a second Smokescreen car so soon would be such a waste.

 

Arcee and Smokescreen seem like weird picks. The T30 Arcee is great and honestly outside of a reissue (Which I don\'t have an issue with) I don\'t see a reason for a new mold. Smokescreen im kinda hoping is an Armada version maybe a repaint of the Hoist mold

 

Airwave is interesting since he is a deluxe. The original is a Micromaster that came with an Airport base. Maybe Micromasters like Airwave like Ironworks are going to be renamed and there bases will be named after the Micromasters they came with?

 

Sharkticons are always more numerous than the Alicons, at least in terms of appearances. personally i think 2:3 ratio would be pretty good 3 sharkticons for every 2 Alicons that way the Allisons are outnumbered, but not massively so.

Ideally my Quint shelf would look like this, using a single Quintesson and what would be his own personal entourage. (though im aiming for 3 Quints Judges.)

Silly thought, but what if Smokescreen is a repack of the Selects? I think I would prefer that to the Datsuns getting all new molds.

 

I'm definitely interested in a new Arcee. Hopefully it refines and improves on her T30 version.

 

Actual 5mm hands, maybe some backpack slimming but idk how they'd do that.

 

Or they could make a new mold. Or retool the siege mold extensively to have an earth mode. I think both the Siege Datsun Trio and Sideswipe molds could get away with being retooled with new alt modes.

 

Thrilled about Allicon. I hope it leads to Sharkticons also.

Arcee I am excited for, but seems like she’d fit better with Siege given her More Cyberton looking alt mode.

 

me too. I didn’t really like the cyberton modes for those characters. If they want to make great Earth molds, I’m in.

 

Honestly, all it would take is some paint on the roofs and removal of any cybertronian script to make them Earth cars.

 

That horrific backpack. The majority of her car mode is just sitting on her back.
How about a version that keeps the wheel-shoulderpads, but converts the rest into her robot body?
There's got to be a way to have a female-presenting robot that looks like the character without making a shellformer.

Hell, they could lean into the partsforming gimmick and make her a partial Modulator/Weaponiser. Curvy fembot, but her car kibble converts into a riot shield that she can carry.

 

Had no clue who Airwave was lol. But if it is another base like Ironworks? Which makes complete sense now... Awesome, totally want more of those!

And an Alicon will be real nice too.

Perfectly content with what I have for the other 2 characters though.
