After seeing some 3p legends-scale figures in person, I think a smaller-scale line could be neat. But after ~14 years I (and I'm sure many others) wouldn't be willing to replace my collection for a scale reboot. Maybe for Generations Beast Wars?

I think 1:18 scale would be perfect for them(and would scale perfectly with GI Joe's main line)

PS: ...if GI Joe was still a thing =(

PPS: I know GI Joe is getting rebooted for the Hasbro Cinematic Universe, but right now they're not on shelves. But you get the idea.

I hope not. I have a feeling there will be significant engineering compromises in trying to fit five leader figures (or five leaders and a voyager) into the titan price point. Unless, of cpurse, they rise the price to maybe $200.
Same for commander class dinobots. Let's wait at least a bit before starting to shrink the new size class.

Do we have any ideas for the 2021 titan then?

Good question. My best guesses were Unicron and Raiden, but they are both getting new expensive figures. Maybe a Primus to go against Unicron. There are a number of characters from the Japanese continuity that fit the class, but I think they aren't popular enough. Other than that, it's either pick from other continuities or start redoing combiners and city bots.

A new Metroplex is possible. John Warden wasn't involved with the T30 one, it's modeled after an outdated video game, and by 2021 it'll be 8 years old.

True... still, that feels so anticlimactic when we could have something like Tidal Wave.

I hope we get a titan TidalWave and a titan Overlord somewhere down the line.

    Weaponizer Waspinator.

    1. Organic wasp alt mode is perfect for an earth based line.

    2. Weaponizers are amazing and would allow him to be constantly torn apart.

I'm hopeful we'll get Warpath, Powerglide, Beachcomber, Cosmos, Brawn, Gears, and Seaspray among others in this line. Granted, many of them got decent figures in potp but I'd rather have new figures that better mach the design philosophy of WfC. If not, I'm going to be busy tracking them down because I foolishly passed on them... same with the Insecticons.

So, with the initial Earhrise reveals, there were 7 main ones:

    Optimus with trailer
    Starscream
    Wheeljack
    Grapple
    Hoist
    Ironworks
    Cliffjumper

1 battlemaster and I think 1 micromaster set?

With these new reveals we’ve got 7 more:

    Megatron
    Doubledealer
    Snapdragon
    Runamuck
    Fast Track
    Trailbreaker
    Sunstreaker

1 Battlemaster and 2 micromaster sets

I theorize that since these numbers are similar to the last convention reveal, these are the figures we’ll definitely see at NY Toy Fair in February

There's so many other figures that could be done that for me, it's the opposite, I'd rather see new characters done as the POTP are actually amazing... aside ankle tilt, they are truly as close to perfect as those figures can be and sure, if they did do them, I'd be very curious, mostly about the sizes that they'd be.

The only one I'd love to see a new approach for, would be a Cosmos but only IF they did him huge, and able to carry a few 'bots (Micros) inside in alt mode.

Even the last set of the Insecticons are amazing, with the main issue was that they weren't released together, and the no weapons thing that I'll never understand why so many (most of the ones you mentioned here) didn't have weapons at all. For mine, I painted the proper parts silver, and got them their weapons.

I'm quite unfamiliar with the previous lines, are they totally separate lines/trilogies/whatever each time? Or is that in headline name only and they're all roughly one CHUG line?

I ask because as I understand it WFC is basically a G1 reboot (?), I LOVE it, and I don't want it to end any time soon! I totally want the next trilogy to be a direct follow-up in every sense that's possible.

I consider T30 to be an introduction to modern transformers lines. There was one trilogy before this one "Prime Wars" that consisted of Combiner Wars, Titans Return (my personal favorite), and Power Of The Primes. I think trilogies are how they are going to do it for a while. I also think the next trilogy will be based on Beast Wars.
